Dark Sister Sword Unboxing - House of the Dragon

In this video, I unbox and review the Valyrian steel sword from from the Game of Thrones series and House of the Dragon show, Dark Sister. This is an officially licensed sword replica made by Jalic Blades and is wielded prominently by Damon Targaryen in the House of the Dragon tv show. In the lore, Dark Sister was wielded before hand by Visenya Targaryen, the sister wife of Aegon the Conqueror.
I really enjoy collecting iconic weapon replicas from media that I love, so I was very excited to add this to the collection.

That’s true. Do we know what the book Dark Sister looks like? I’ve seen art where is looks close to the show version. At the end of the day it’s just comparing two products so the viewer can see what they want to get (if they want to get)

I really wish they would use their "Valyrian Patterned" stainless steel blades on these swords. (ex. Book Ice & Book Longclaw) I just can’t understand why they don’t or won’t. That’s the only reason I won’t buy this or any “Valyrian Steel” sword that just has plane stainless on it.

Well they do do the Damascus , which are really cool but expensive. I have the book Ice with the pattern (not Damascus) and it looks kind of fake so maybe that’s why? Not sure but I understand what you are saying

@ I have a knockoff version of Dark Sister & it has the faux Damascus pattern on it & I think it looks good haha It’s honestly Better then paying $700 for the real thing, I’m not saying the plain stainless version is bad but personally I’d take a faux pattern that doesn’t look %100 real over no pattern at all. But Don’t get me wrong the Dark Sister Stainless Version is still a beautiful sword nonetheless
