- Rachel Kettlewell's jam and preserves company, Fearne & Rosie is aimed at the children's food market. One Dragon in particular found this product desirable and made her an offer which Katie was very emotional about receiving. She's seeking an investment of £40,000 in exchange for 20% of her business.

@@IgnoreMyChan Yeah, that’s one of the latest annoying things these thugs are trying: They take the profile picture of the channel that posted the video and take on a name that’s a bit similar.
And then they are off to react on (nearly) every single real comment with their luring texts…
I’ve already reported several of these scam accounts, so their latest ‘modus operandi’ is known to TH-cam and it’s now up to them to find an overall solution to this!!

She's so sweet. And by her clean livid pitch and honesty and self taught business knowledge alone I would hire her
And didn't seem that livid to me.
The deal wasn’t made in the end and she took investment from another investor (undisclosed sum). Sales increased by 750% just two weeks after the pitch aired on BBC. They had predicted sales of £3M this year.
Nobody deserve it more than her! She should be what is called a Apha Woman. She is what a mother and wife should be in this day and age. That and more.

After the show she didn't accept the offer but it seems that her company is doing very well. She said that she decided not to finalize the deal because the company really took off after appearing on the show.

She got more than £40,000 worth of advertising just by appearing on the show. Which I suspect is all she was really after.
Since she didn't accept the offer after and went with another investor, you may be correct.
@@LoveYou-ol3dt I don't think so, she seemed genuinely excited about the offer. Probably her husband talked her out of it. It wasn't a great offer anyway. The equity was too high, she wasn't a good negotiator.
First 4 minutes of the pitch she would make you believe she did it all by herself but in reality it is her husband who did all the leg work

Sorry to hear. Maybe write a letter with the details and an account she can deposit the money into? Keep a copy. Include and write her name and urgent on it. I'm sure they will deal with it then. Hope after you receive your money, you find better clients.

Peter was spot on… she could just do it with her partner but she clearly wants to be independent for him. Seems like a catastrophic mess considering he’s not even there to help with the pitch. Maybe there’s a rocky situation in their relationship, Peter knows the minute he touches this, it’s either gonna get stripped away from her partner because he can’t match the volume required, which causes an issue or he keeps it with her partner at a non profitable cost whilst making those two rich causing a business issue.
Her partner was not there 'cause he got stuck in a traffic jam.

All you need for healthy jam is frozen/fresh fruit, chia seeds and a natural sweetener of choice. Zero processed sugar.
Sugar gives the jam shelf life. Otherwise they would need artificial preservatives, which will take away the organic/natural pitch.

Why is a woman a mum-trepreneur but the dads are never dad-trepreneurs? Does the OP consider a woman's sole purpose to be a mum?
While Mumtrepreneur is a silly word, I’ve only really seen it used when the entrepreneur makes being a mother a big part of her brand or pitch. “Dadtrepreneur” also sounds way worse from a phonaesthetic standpoint.
Why is there a narrator on this show ?? Its completely unnecessary. Hes so annoying. We are capable of comprehending what is going on without having our hands held like.

@@Tom_Berry its pretty obvious she is trying to build up the "cute mum-entrepreneur" brand for herself. Also there are women who talk like that. Its a way of getting something from people, or at least getting them on side.
That's actually so disappointing. I know guys who fund their wives small "businesses" just so they have something to do and wont bother them. It's kinda sad really.
