My theory: The tattoo that is clearly visible on the arm of the other officer in his body cam footage is a white supremacist symbol, the police department that hired both of these guys is likely full of them, they only hire their own, and they really don't care about your background as long as your racist, This really isn't that uncommon in police departments.

They weren't searching for an intruder in her tiny apt, they were looking for anything illicit that they could arrest her for. They also wanted her ID to check for outstanding warrants they could arrest her for and it was all done illegally. Paper ID isn't required because your called the cops for help and this explains why many minorities do not call the cops under any circumstances because most cops only view them as a potential perpetrator and not a tax paying civilian entitled to municipal services like police.

Don’t call the cops. Especially if you’re black. Handle everything yourself however it needs to be handled…💯

I believe the Illinois State Police are just as guilty as this criminal officer. They are the ones who hired him and admitted him to the force. The Illinois State Police should be charged with homicide in this case.

That would be hard, I agree, and I’m speaking as someone going into law enforcement. But it also places the good ones (unlike the murderer here that killed her) in danger and their families. For example, retaliation and much more.
