That Lent joke feels like a Saturday Night Live Weekend Update joke that either Michael Che says to piss off the women in the audience yet again or Michael Che writes for Colin Jost so he can come off as a misogynist creep.

Writers are unsung heroes on most staffs so it is nice to be able to watch this and know who wrote the joke even outside this segment. I have definitely watched monologs and went "Bet that was Scollins"

As a Polish person schmaltz joke hit me right in the heart. Just like high cholesterol from all the schmaltz. I also enjoyed Ally's jokes, and the one about giving it up for lent was a classic dad joke, and I loved it lol

Here in Germany we like our Schmalz. Especially with Grieben. And slightly salted with fried onions on a nice slice of rye-wheat grey bread made by our grannies in middle of autumn in the old „Backhaus“ in our village‘s center after local farmers were harvesting all the wheat and rye necessary using the sourdough fed for generations and handed over from mothers to their daughters with the secret recipe for making a good ol‘ loaf of bread. 😉
This was great. I would like to see more. It humanizes the process. I’m sure the writes would be good occasional characters. It has to be a demanding job.
