GREAT movie! The perfect mix of laugh-out-loud comedy.....and murder. I can't imagine anyone but Kathleen Turner playing this role -- you just have to dive in, and she's never had a problem with going for broke.
Mrs. Hinkle, are you insane?
Best comedy movie ever!!!
With all the tasteless wine-mom hosted true crime podcasts, crime reenactment shows and Netflix serial killer simp-fests polluting the media these days, this genius piece of satire is more relevant now than ever!
Love this movie

OMG I remember that I was laughing so hard for 6 months after this movie came out in theaters. I remember that Ricki Lake was funny on here to.
A Serial Mom 2 would be great, or Serial Grandma even better. Always been my favorite.
If they did a sequel and Kathleen Turner reprised her role, who should play her granddaughter who becomes the next serial killer? Peyton R. List, Kiernan Shipka, McKenna Grace or Emma Myers?
What a great funny movie . Katleen Turner only you could have played her . The gays love you for it ❤
love kathleen love serial mom kisses frow Brasil thanks
Great movie
This is my best best best in favorite movies❤❤❤
Murder is not funny, but this movie is hilarious. Brilliant director, great cast. Kathleen Turner looks like a Mom from one of those old shows from the '50s, only with a twist.😂
My friends and I scream laughed when the people in the car screamed in unison.

The only thing good as this is Fargo
Kathleen Turner killed this role! Pun intended. She was hilarious! 😂
Kate Collins, who played Natalie on the daytime soap opera ‘All My Children,’ looks like Kathleen Turner in this movie.
I love Kathleen Turner, but she was badly miscast. The humor was just too predictable and obvious.
I somewhat agree and so did some other critics, Susan Sarandon was the 1st choice but was too expensive. I can imagine her doing it better. I think Turner hadn't had a hit since 1989 and was in need of 1 and choose this and it was the last nail in the coffin.
@@shanefolan9175 The overall consensus was that Turner came off more pathetic and even pitiful than frightening or commanding. I don't fault Turner, who I much prefer overall any day than Susan Sarandon. The problem was the banal script which didn't allow for anything to really be explored; instead we were just given bad cliches and name dropping.
@@ericnelson9100 it's not my type of humour. I found it disgusting and off putting in places and it ruined my vision of Turner as a sex symbol.
Rewind!
