- Uploading the PLC program from an Allen Bradley Micro800, Micro810, Micro820, Micro830, Micro850, and Micro870 using Rockwell Automation's Connected Components Workbench. The procedure for uploading your PLC program is the same in all of the Micro800 PLCs.

Hello Tim, I'm so happy to found your TH-cam Channel, interesting information, I'm learning about Micro830 PLC, I think I'm in the right place. Thanks a lot for your time.
Hi John. Great to meet you. You are in the right place!
be great if these training videos ever worked so well in real life lol
Like what?
Thanks Tim!!!! My boss’s name is also Tim 😎
Good name!
can you please do a video on connecting multiple plc through ethernet and gather data to make a unified dashboard thanks for your grate videos. i, really, have learned a lot.
We have some Ignition SCADA videos that we are rolling out now.
Tim, is the documentation not stored online like the Control and CompactLogix controllers? The instruction and rung comments I am referring to so if you upload the program you have the logic but no documentation? It’s tough trying to debug because of the lack of documentation in the program. Is there a way to do this?
Hey Tim. Thanks for all you videos it’s so useful for a beginner like me and my team!
Is there a way that we can backup the code in PLC to a SD card directly? (with the SD card slot which is in the Allen Bradley micro820)
Yes, you can through Connected Components Workbench. That would make a good video, let me put it on the list.
Thank you so much for replying. I’m waiting for it. Please upload it sooner🙂
CCW fails to upload. The file is either corrupted or has an invalid format. I’ve done it in 4 different 820s with the same result. I guess a video for common connection faults would be great.
Do a video on how to set up auto backup
Hi Brandon. It is on the list to talk about backups but one of the items I'll hit is why auto backups aren't such a good idea. Stay tuned!
Hi, I wonder if it is possible to do online edit on Micro800 series, or du we have to stop the program and download the change's
You can make online edits with the paid developer version but not with the free version.
I'm struggling to find the video where you originally set up the ethernet driver... I'm pretty sure I watched it in the past but I'm struggling to find it again. Would you mind it posting a link or pointing me in the right direction.
Here you go Andrew.

Hi. I upload Micro850 by CCW 6.0 successfully but I can not go online to monitoring program even CCW already show connected to controller. Please help
CCW 6.0 is pretty ancient, I would start by downloading version 13.

GM Tim, we got a machine that has a Micro 870 and a HMI. I can figure out how to upload the PLC program and merge it with the HMI program. Is there a introduction manual that show you this?
In the left pane, add device near the top
@TimWilborne thanks you sir
You are welcome
