I have and love this stroller so much. In my neighborhood, everyone has Yoyo or Uppababy so the Comet stands out beautifully. It's flaws:
1. the belly bar may not allow enough room for chubby toddlers
2. This stroller would be terrible for warmer climates (I'm in NYC).
3. The mesh and window on the canopy are not large enough. There is also a nice cushioned part of the seat blocking the full window and most of the mesh.
4. The (extra) matching accessories are not worth the added expense. I use the height adapters and cup holder everyday and plan to use the reversible seat liner but the Eclipse Footmuff (not in this video), and the matching diaper bag were a waste of an extra $400 😢. The diaper bag is such low quality and the footmuff is unnecessary because you get two included with this stroller already.
5. The recline is flatter than most but is not completely flat. It's probably 175°. Flat enough for a newborn with enough of an incline to prevent reflux.
In a cold climate, this is probably the absolute best single-box stroller on the market, no accessories needed.

What is the length of the seat from top to bottom in a reclining position?

Hi, I was told by a silver cross representative that the elevate adapter can only be used in conjunction with the car seat adapter and car seat. But in the review it looks as if you did not need the car seat adapter & car seat, you used it to elevate the stroller seat..I'm confused. We do not feel that we need the car seat adapter since the seat fully reclines for a newborn. Please advise.

I love silver cross pushchairs but only a few of them have the full lie flat option (which is NOT the reclinabile option, since the baby's legsand back cannot stretch in a riclined position, you just recline the whole sit in those). I am desperately looking for something with a full lie flat option!
