My brother and I have section hiked the approach trail all the way to a weld gap. We stayed at that water fall one night. So beautiful! How exciting to get some sunshine after all the rainy weather.
Hey kriz!! You commented all through my 2018 thru and I just saw you in the comments and wanted to say again thanks for your support and great to see you continuing to support everyone whose attempting thrus!
Good luck on the AT. I have always wanted to hike it. I just love how you are like when I get there I get there if I do. That's my kinda of hiking. I will for sure keep watching.. keep you feet on the trail and watch out for them roots. From John and Jan (AKA Mistikbunny) of Adventures in the Heartland
Thank you! I used the Further Shuttle in this video and they were good. I’ve also used White Blaze Shuttle Services twice (once to and once from the airport) and had a good experience both times with her. Good luck in 2024!
I am so excited for you!! Every time I watch someone get to Springer, I get a little verklempt. :) Don't worry about taking a zero so soon. Sh*t happens, and you have to be flexible. Do what you need to do.
Congrats on starting the AT. Great video. Fantastic views. Thank you for sharing your journey and excitement with us. I love the foggy woods. Think they have their own special kind of beauty. It would be helpful if we knew a little about your daily mileage. I know you're excited but would caution you about trying to do too many miles too fast possibly risking an overuse injury. Those falls are really spectacular. Stay safe.
Thank you for the feedback, I will start adding in more information about my daily mileage. Taking it easy on the miles is definitely still something I'm working on.
Love your enthusiasm! It must be surreal.😊
Your actually hiking the AT and doing great. Woohoo God bless your hike 🙏🙏❤️🥾🥾✌️☕

@@KrizAkoni do you know who this is?
@@smlworld3014 I’m embarrassed to say I’m having trouble with the wayback brain cells…hint?
Great start! And great mention of the UE plane crash. It's nice to remember, whether in the woods or on campus. Happy trails!
Thanks! For sure, I just remember looking at those faces every day on campus so it sticks with me.

Looking forward to watching your hike...I can tell from your "pre-hike" videos that you're well prepared to make this happen !!!
Thank you!
Love your excitement and enthusiasm for the trail. You’re going to do great.
Thank you!
The hike Inn is not on the at approach trail
Correct. It is a side trail that eventually meets up with the approach trail.
Morgan hi! It’s me lidia, your mom told me about the channel 😂.
Hi! That's funny!
The excitement on your first day was showing. Georgia will give you a workout. Good move to go to the hostel. Be flexible in your planning. Hike on !
Thanks!
You’re doing well, careful on those down hills not to go too quickly. It can be hard on your knees.
Thank you, I'm definitely working on slowing down on the downhills.
