      That’s club football though to be fair. All players can be any nationality in club football. National football really should be all managers and staff of each nationality against each other, like it is players. I know there’s no rules on it, but I get what he’s saying. I don’t understand why it’s only players that have to be from the nation they’re playing for, as managers are very important as well and the whole point is it’s supposed to be one country versus another, no?

      Besides FIFA's nationality rules are very lax. You don't have to be born here in England to play for England, hence why Guéhi plays for England rather than Ivory Coast, where he was born. There's plenty of teams that rely heavily on England-born players especially Scotland, Wales, both Irish teams.

    Two things can be true at the same time. It's true that Tuchel is a very good top manager and the FA are very fortunate to have signed him. It's also true that it's unfortunate that England doesn't have a good setup for developing world class coaches like other FAs do, and I hope that the English FA implements reforms to counter-act this.

    I think the biggest issue is the lack of English managers and this needs to be looked at.
    Im happy with a foreign manager but would much prefer an English manager and that would mean we would have more good English managers.
    On another call in England to get your coaching badge here its thousands and in Germany its 500 euros or something like that
