Really great video of a beautiful ride! Debby and I just threw it up on the big TV and watched together. SOOO sad we couldn’t make for this ride. The drone shots really add to seeing the immense beauty of the trail and area. We will be watching for the next one 👍😎
Great vid folks...as informational as entertaining. We've been doing this as long as UTV's have been considered off-road recreation, which was actually well before the Sport models were even conceived. We've been everywhere but out west, and although we own a MOAB Jeep, we've never been inspired to migrate that way until recently. You just made it our Spring destination...rite-on! Approaching our 60s and so that crazy high-speed break you equipment stuff no longer appeals to us (we have done our share...three fusions and a load of wire and screws in my spine attest to it) this vid tells us we can 4-seat and bring our two dogs and STILL have a great time. Appreciate the example!
Great video! Moving to Kanab in spring, summer of 2021. Purchased property there. Having a house built in Vermillion Cliffs. Absolutely beautiful area. Love Kanab. Have my eye on the Yamaha YXZ 1000. Would love to ride with you all some day...😉
Thanks for watching! We plan to do a few group rides a year and will announce the next one when we get it planned so stay tuned! As for camping, yeah, there were a few RV's when we were unloading. No water or power or formal spaces but people were dry camping there. See you in the next one! -Joe
It sure looks like the River is alot easier to cross these days. Haven't been through there for about 12 years. The flooding has sure changed the landscape since last summer.
Great video, looks like some really good riding. With such a big group, where did everyone stay at? I've got a group of 6-8 sxs and would like to plan a trip up there in the future. Coming from Texas it would be one of our big vacation/buggy trips. Can you recommend anywhere to stay with cabin availability?
Hi. We are heading to Kanab in March and would love to take this ride. Any chance you could give us the route? Even to the tunnel? Thank you in advance.
been here many times, went over New Years 2020 and plan on going again the end of next month. You need to go over to Hog Canyon near Kanab and hit trail #5 if you want to raise the hair on the back of your neck. Hitting the Barracks in the warmer months, the dust is a bummer. This last trip, no dust at all.
@@DerangedOffRoad So would you be willing to share the location of that trail for the SxS, I know the location of the single track for dirt bikes, guessing it's close by?
thanks for this. We plan on being there in about two weeks for the first time. Cant wait! Im going with some friends who dont have a UTV, is anyone aware of rentals in the area of Barracks Trail? Thanks for any replies. Ride safe
You could probably do it starting from the trail head near Coral Pinks State Park, and finishing in Mount Carmel, but you wouldn't be able to return the same way.
Great video! Couple of questions, what is the skill level of your group? Would you recommend take these trails alone with your family in one utv? Specially if I don't have too much experience driving utvs. Thank you!
Yes, overall it’s not to bad at all. Are whole group has experience driving for awhile now. Coming back the big sand hill you go down can be a little challenging coming up sometimes. 👍
Thanks for the support. We did this ride this month, solo, (jan) and it was epic. A fair amount of snow. I'll make a vid on it but it will suck compared to this one ;-)
All those kids and no helmets? Wow....you’d have a bucket full of citations doing that in Arizona. Everyone under 18 here must have a helmet. Anyways.....Great scenery, thanks for sharing. But please get those helmets on. It only takes one time.
@@jjcox7969 As a Californian, sorry bout that. Too bad all these dipshits are fleeing the sinking ship and California'ing other nice states like UT, CO, ID, etc.
I guess I'm an outlaw as I'm 62 and a grandpa that never rode my bicycle with a helmet as a kid. Should I also say that I rode in the back of pickup trucks, as a young lad, ran as fast as I could up and down winding trails{by foot and bicycles} without a helmet, as I grew older, I also rode Harley Davidson's without a helmet. As my in state, which is flat and muddy, I don't ride with the seat belt on as My average speed is 8 mph. Riding in the mountains in Arkansas ,Colorado , and Utah, which we did use the seat belts, is common sense to me . Let common sense have a chance. I don't believe all trails ridden are equal and need the same restrictions. jmho
I just watched this. It looked like a great day to remember.
Always enjoy your video! Southern Utah is my favorite place for off roading. It's an excellent place to photograph and video.

Awesome video! Can’t wait to try this trail out this spring! Well done boys!
You will love the ride 👍

That’s an awesome ride. So great with the fam. Memories made forever.
It’s all about the memories for sure! -Garrett
That looks like a fun place to go riding!!! I wish I was not so far away!
If you’re out east we think the same thing all the time.
I am actually from Alberta, Canada. I ride up in the Rocky Mountains all the time. Bit it's all. Rocky and usually wet. Riding the Sand would be nice.
Well we feel the same up that way as well. I’m sure you have some great riding areas. -Garrett

Really an amazing place to be! Thanks for watching!
Where are they it's a nice video but no name
I want to go I just don't know where they shot this video it should be all over their video title
Trying to get back up the sandhill can be a lot of fun.
And you never know what you’re going to get. It changes all the time. 👍-Garrett

Looks like a great trail!
What an amazing trail, great video
Good video. I’m from Logan. We are down here in Hurricane “sand Hollow “
How do we get to this trail near Zion ? Thx
You will want to turn off Cane Bed rd right after Colorado City. The staging area will be about three miles before Coral Pink Sand dunes.
Am heading out there in a couple weeks from California, any chance for tracks/file? Thanks

@@DerangedOffRoad Yea I've done a lot of dirt biking in Warner even some time on rented RZR down there and at Sand Hollow. Corral sand dunes better?
Fling'n Dirt Coral Pinks sand is very very soft. I prefer the sand at Sand Hollow.

It’s in Mount Carmel UT
great footage

Thanks. It's in Marysvale UT
Let me help my buddy out, we stopped in Mount Carmel Junction. Marysvale is way farther north. -Garrett 👍

How many miles long round trip was that ride?
Can't remember exactly. Somewhere in the neighborhood of 40ish miles
What’s the address for this amazing trail ?
Headed there this weekend!
Great video
I hear that lately this trail is quite the traffic-jam on weekends?
It can be very crowded and at times dangerous. If you get started before 8 am you won't see anybody on it.
