+Dan King - The video quality is actually excellent. To see the best version you need to get a video link from the persona theta site (if they shared it there). When you upload it to youtube & facebook the quality appears much worse due to the current state of their systems :)
How long until we're going to have real HD 360 video cameras? It feels like I've been waiting so long for them. Even a good quality 720p would be nice. The second a decent HD 360 cam for around $350.00 or less is released, I'll buy it.
Dang, this is amazing. Image quality is still a bit weak still, but I can't wait for this in a year or two. This reminds me of the original gopro hero. Now that we're in gopro 5 territory the original looks like a joke.
I decided against the first model not so much because of the low res but more because of the 15fps frame rate. It is nice to see this has 30fps. My hope is that the 360 experience makes up for the lack of resolution. I'm hoping to take mine on a water slide. I think I heard something about a waterproof case...

The ability to essentially move my phone and see any view I want is awesome. Really could be some fascinating videos taken with this tech.

quality is so low... it needs to shoot a 4k image that can be unwrapped into a 1080p frame so quality is maintained

Look better in IE but veiwing is not 360degree.
