    Hope this takes off. These videos should make currency. Why did I never have anyone like him in my school life?.

    Nice game - various ways to play it but it's vital that you justify the position you find yourself in at the start rather than simply breaking from that into a totally new scene.

      Absolutely,… that is the name of the game! I’m so glad you like the exercise and I think this version works well for encouraging maximum participation.

    I played this with my Drama Class! Almost got in trouble because I decided to make an implied swear word joke 😅

    We've been playing this game a bit different. When someone says freeze He/she have to decide one of the characters on the stage and replace position with him/her.

      I tweaked it a bit to make it more inclusive and ensure maximum participation... the classic version can often be dominated by the more confident/creative players in the group whereas, this ensures that everyone gets to have a go :)

    Hey Glyn,
    Thanks to all your videos, I am from India and I have bought Drama Menu . It’s a great compilation of all the games but sometimes the description of some of the games are confusing, as I’m unable to picture the exact physical forms of the games.
    Can you please help me with this? Where and how can I ask my doubts regarding the book?

    Doing a double is fine but there seems to be a lot rejecting of offers instead of just saying "YES" and accepting. While successful freeze games can succeed with questions and rejections, it is really throwing a spanner in the Improvisational works. Do you ever get around to adding CROW exchanges-Character/ relationship/ objective and where elements? Really nice work otherwise.

    I’d to know how is this exercise important when it comes to a real play ?

    • @DramaMenu
      @DramaMenu  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      This exercise is all about staying aware, alert, in the moment and focused. If a player loses focus, more often then not they will be 'out'! So, it encourages players to remain poised, ready and switched-on at all times. Lots to incorporate into a 'real play' I would think :).
