Could there be a firmare update to drop the torque even lower (a super-low option) to say 10 % ~ 20%. I find that the 'lag' induced in the nano motors makes it easier to hit focusing marks.
@tilta, my issue is when I calibrate motors, they don't go full range of lens that DOES have hard stops. It my Fujinon MK 18-55: It will calibrate itself from 24-50 or something similar, not giving full range. Where can I find solution to this issue? Thank you.
Hello, thanks for this clear video. I've a question: If I have to switch off all - motor, FIX and handle - I will have to re-calibrate manually the photo lens when I will switch-on again?
Due to the EZ mode firmware update, the last calibration will be remembered in the motor after a shutdown. For additional help please email: support@tilta.com
Thx for the vid! Quick question. Is it possible to assign a preset focus throw that goes from close focus to infinity on cine lenses? For example on a film set I might want to use the full 360 degree range of a cine lens and when run and gunning I'd prefer to have 150 degrees of rotation. Ideally there'd be a favorites menu setting that stores these settings for the user to quickly access... I would assume that the feature I ask about should be available but I haven't been able to find the info online ;) Hope to hear back :)
Hello, There is a setting on the hand grips that allows for a shorter pull via the knob. You can find a switch on the front of the handle to change the setting. However with the hand unit there is no way to shorten the throw. I will make sure to tell our team that this feature is being requested, hopefully it can be implemented in a future build. Have a great day!
@@TILTA Thank you so much for your reply! Good to know that it works on the handle and thanks for updating team about the feature request for the hand unit. It would be amazing to have that functionality!:D Thx again and have a great day too!
Quick question: I have set the torque on my hand unit to 30% (Low), and that's what it shows on the hand unit LCD. But on the motor display, it always says 50%. Is that referring to something else on the motors, or am I missing something?
Your handles have a "range" that you can set on your handles. You can locate this range on the inner front of your handles. Make sure that the toggle is looking "down". You can also set specific ranges with your "A-B Button" that is located on the front by the wheel. These are two weeks to make the range bigger and have a bigger throw. I hope this information helps. Excellent, thank you Walter and Tilta!
Hi Walter, thank you for the video. Why is the procedure explained in another way than in the users manual?
Is there any way to do manual calibration just with the handles, so I can travel without FIZ ?
Please contact support@tilta.com for more information.
Have you figured out how to do it with the handles?
@@TalKissos did you get any answer about this question ?

mine forgets the calibration every single time... even with the latest firmware ....so frustrating
does it remember the calibration after turn it off?
If you auto-calibrate then it will remember, otherwise then you have to set it everytime.
@@TILTA any upcoming firmware at least to remember any calibration, it was a pain for me on set.
@@FlashOneFilms Did that change, do you know?
Is it possible to do this without a fiz?

Is there a way to do this with one handle? I don't have the hand grip set up
Calibrate the motor & remote in the exact way you would here but instead of turning the wooden wheel you're using the side handle wheel.
Hello, excuse me is there a way to make the focus speed slower? It goes way too fast with my handles. Thank you.

the min torque setting is still way way way too high, especially for calibration. there has to be a way to turn it down, you are breaking lenses
