- their is so many moments I would have chosen for this ( I really wanted to add clips from animaniacs stew but I don't know what episode that was) but j didnt want the video to be over 10 minutes, but still, my favorite character in animaniacs.

Delivery
Slappy is probably the most underrated character from Animaniacs. Her smart, quick-witted persona adds that comedic flair that would be seen in older cartoons. I'd argue that she's one of the main characters of Animaniacs; the show just woudn't be the same without her.
And her deadpan delivery too really makes her stand out

And this is why slappys slowly starting to become my next favorite character from animaniacs her and skippys relationship with each other is actually rather wholesome and it truly warms my heart to see them having a good and solid relationship

LOL I actually remember catching that last episode on TV once. The Warners were being tormented by a crazy, obsessive, overprotective nanny, but because she was technically trying to be nice (just happened to also be a nutcase) and was not _deliberately_ trying to cause them harm or be a jerk, their own laws of slapstick prevented them from harming her, leading them to decide that they needed to enlist the help of someone capable of slapstick with absolutely no karmic reasoning. Cue them enlisting the help of Slappy lol

Slappy always reminded me of Sophia from Golden Girls if she was a squirrel. The sarcasm is the best. 🤣 Lol at "This one's on the house."
"Cute the way he tried flying with his ears." Her dialogue really was top notch.

@AEMoreira81 Exactly! I wish she was in the reboot! But the reboot isn't that good, unfortunately, so I guess it doesn't matter! They made the show really PC culture and too political!
I think the reason Slappy didn't get enough recognition is because her humor is more for adult audience then kids. Because I will be honest, half the jokes she did I didn't understood before I grown up. Now I understand them more and can see the humor.

The queen has returned.
When I was a young musician playing in vaudeville reboot. For advisors, two lady vaudevillians (long retired old course) were hired. They were funny, contentious, and no subject was taboo. Every time I see Slappy, I’m reminded of Ruth and Maude. Slappy could be a long lost member of their troupe. The writers got her right, including the accent.
truth we have to agree, Slappy Squirrel deserved her own series more than Pinkie and Brain
My favorite too, still watching this cartoon (for the first time) and enjoying every moment of this glorious squirrel. (well, except episode 83, which was a crime against this character)

And Ik I’m late to this and all, but I’m aware about how your fans have been pestering you to make more animations and it just breaks my heart seeing how blind and blunt people can be. I grew up watching your animations, but I respect and understand that you’re done with them and it’s time to move on. I think someone thought up Slappy having considered it would be great to have a cartoon character grow old as real people grow old.
Slappy was and still is one of the most popular characters in animaniacs. Its no wonder why she appeared in the season finale 🩶

So I read the description and “Animaniacs Stew” consists of the episodes “In The Garden of Mindy”, “No Place Like Homeless”, and “Baghdad Cafe”, the third of which Slappy is in.
The whole gimmick of the episode was that the character pairings were switched around for humorous effect. For example, Pesto swapped with Rita, who swapped with the Brain, who swapped with Buttons, etc.; Slappy and Dot swapped for each other.
The show not the same with out her, That's ant Slappy all right, and we need the others too. She a nice grump, as long as your not doing any thing bad to Piss her off

People keep trying to be meta or poke fun at tropes and cliches.
Slappy did it first and did it well, giving it a twist and an homage to the old without always winking to the audience, usually in a mocking manner to the trope itself and those who did it.
