Hi Bob and Jennie. Thanks for looking over the Benimar 481 for us. Sandy and I came to the same conclusion, the Ford cab, drop down bed in a 6m van makes it our favoured choice at the moment. We had the same concerns around storage but looking at options to move the spare wheel outside to free off the bottom wardrobe. Did you notice the top wardrobe is less deep, the outside access is double hight for longer items. The fresh water tank is under the forward facing seats. The table slides in all directions and drops to seat level which allows the bed to move right down. That's why there are no lockers below. Compromise worth it I think. Really appreciate your experienced view. Very interested in the comments about where to buy from as well. Thanks all
Great job again guys.I met a chap on a site who had a new ford transit based Benimar. He said the only thing that he could fault on it was it was very easy to wheel spin with the 170 hp engine.

daverman68 We have a Rollerteam Pegaso we love it but have to say if we ever downsize I think this motorhome would be a strong contender 😊 my brother also collects his lunchtime on 4th March - happy travels!

We have a Beni 481 loads of extras are standard, this year they have released a budget version. Motorhome Company gets great reviews amongst Benimar owners.
Really liked the last vehicle. Great for a single person. Would only need one vehicle. And the prices are fantastic. 54000 euro is 61000$ US. You cant get anything in US like that for that price.
Great video. Six metre vans seem a pretty good compromise for two folk, really. More cupboards can just mean more excuse for clutter. Aren’t all vans so well made now than compared with the 70s? My parents had a Ford Canterbury Savannah bought new in 1974. Within 4 years, it had holes in the wings and floor... dreadful really.... and an 80 bhp Petrol engine
Had a benimar 202, I have since sold it as quality and build was poor and aftersales left alot to be desired. Not alot of storage either, the 201 would probably have been the better choice, but the compromise is a tightish dinette area.

Great vid, it looks like our home grown coachbuilts have a lot to learn from Benimar and foreign manufacturers that offer good spec and low price!

Certainly the base vehicle seems to have improved.

Loads of counter space you can’t use, because of the angle you would beworking on. For me the last van isn’t practical enough.
Did they have any of the new Benimar Primero range?
