- Short and sweet, another piece from composer Dario Marianelli from the Pride & Prejudice soundtrack. The only problem with this piece is that it's too short! This is the piece that plays when Darcy approaches Liz during the final scene of the Pride & Prejudice (2005) film. Even without the orchestral accompaniment, the piano holds its own in this short and simple composition.

Pride & Prejudice has such a lovely soundtrack, are there any other pieces from the 2005 film you'd like to hear?
First off, you played this piece so well, awesome job! If you could play "Darcy's Letter" or "Your Hands Are Cold" even if it's just the beginning, because I know both pieces are over four minutes, that would be amazing

Guys if you are learning this dont give up! Im only 13 and im almost done learning this song. It tales time and its not easy, but just go slowly and it will be worth it. I do practice a bit, but especially if ur older than me, you can take your time and go slowly. Dont give up, its a lovely song!!!!!❤

Well I think you'll need to start with having a piano! 😉 Take it slow, find a teacher if you can, and if you can't, TH-cam and r/piano on Reddit both have mountains of amazing resources for beginners. I wish you the absolute best on this incredible journey should you choose to start it!

I’ve had piano lessons before, but they never really helped so I taught myself. Just watch other people play, match it (takes forever if you’re new to it), and soon you’ll be there. You just have to be able to sit and try over and over again until you feel the music just coming from your soul really. Anyone can do it, the hard part is having the will to actually attempt and fail in repetition; that’s how you know you’ve really made it , you tried.

This piece was the first part of the soundtrack written by Mr. Marianelli. It is for the scene in the film where Liz realizes she was all wrong about Darcy, and is having her breakthrough. She is on an excursion looking over a valley. from this climax of the film's plot, he then worked outward to either end of the score. It is a short piece, but getting off your position isn't a slow process if and when it happens.
