- In his Mets news conference, center fielder Harrison Bader is "extremely excited for the opportunity" to be back in New York, after playing just a shade under a hundred games for the crosstown Yankees a couple of seasons ago. He underwent core muscle surgery in the offseason and dedicated himself to rehabbing for 2024. Bader also touched on reuniting with former University of Florida teammate Pete Alonso saying, "I admire the work behind the scenes that he does... there's great synergy here and I'm happy to be a Met."

the bader defensive highlights gonna go crazy this year
looking forward to this guy being on deck
Good communicator and confident, no "umm's" and "like I said" insertions, intelligent and athletic, just don't over-train, get enough rest, and play ball.
This Jake Paul guy is a very talented multi sport athlete wow
😂 Good one!
What’s the over/under? 25 games?
Annoying to see these IL comments, all we gotta do it hope for the best for the guy. He will be crucial when it matters
Goal #1 should be to play more than 125 games which he's only done TWICE in his career. Playoffs? (enter Jim Mora)
He will on the IL by May, June at the latest.
So Harrison the date today is February 19th, when do you expect to start your first stint on the I.L this season?
Yankee go home lol 😂
😢 Hope for something different..... despite the reality
