I made your goodbye meatballs and sauce again last night and it never fails to make me swoon. I let the balls sit in the sauce for an hour on a slow simmer and they were so tender and rich. I rolled them all and cooked what I wanted for two meals, and then froze the rest. So delicious.
My Grandma used to make this sauce! Like a ton of it...and never thought about the amount of prep and work and time she had to put in. Can still remember today that incredible flavour 🤤 Glad to have you back Alison!!

While I have been enjoying "A Newsletter" I am happy to see and hear you on video again. So much so, that my when I asked my son if he wanted to take some for lunch at school, he said yes, but only the meatballs, no pasta. Win!
It’s amazing how similar your recipe is like my Sicilian grandmother’s and aunts recipes. We par bake first to help remove some grease. Then at halfway point add to the seasoned gravy ! We also stated adding hard boiled eggs to the sauce too , to stretch the dish when broke. Only we started loving the eggs as much . Love the video! I can share yours vs having to keep telling how I do it

I don't understand why anyone would be so critical. I always forget to take my rings off, even when making sourdough and dough sticks to them and it's a mess. As long as I don't accidentally bake it into the bread, who cares? Your recipes are delicious and your videos are so fun. I'm glad you're back!

I had a brand new Costco-sized jar of peanut butter confiscated by TSA once, and I was SO SAD about it. My parents gave it to me to take back to college with me, which was so sweet of them. It's been over 10 years and I still think about this when I travel.

Ever since the downfall of the BA Test Kitchen videos I've been missing food content videos and I'm so happy to have this channel.
All I know is that it's been way too long (and I've had my hummus confiscated by TSA agents before).
I had almond butter confiscated by TSA - apparently "pastes" count as liquids which is dumb and I cried
I've had a turkey sandwich and a pear confiscated arriving at JFK. That layover was so sad without snack !
