  • I asked my audience two questions: "How many thought it was ok to yell at their kids?" And "How many thought yelling at their kids is unnecessary?" For those who didn't, I told them they are going to catch hell 😁😂I don't know how I could've raised my kids without yelling! Watch this parenting tip and more #SteveTVShow on SteveHarvey.com

Let me show you the way to Jesus! In a whisper because only Jesus can save your ass now. I was out with friends and my friends brother was acting a fool. His mama smiled at all the ladies in the group and said those words to her son. I was standing right next to them and heard what she whispered. I thought um I dont even want to mess with her. One kid had kept saying to her mama I need to go to the bathroom. Her reply you didn't need to 2 minutes ago and unless you want the trots like that little boy you better behave and wait.

Oh, and don't let me have to call your first name, middle name and last name or if I have to tell you a third time ... you just knew you were in deep trouble. The funny thing is we use those same methods of discipline on our kids as well...generation after generation. 😂😂😂😊 If it ain't broke don't fix it. Go with what works. 😂😂😂😊😊😊

Just my opinion but there's a time and place for yelling and a time and place for whispering I whisper or talk normally the first few times I asked him to do something then after that it's time for the voice to get raise a little bit and if it is at a point of yelling somebody's ass is in trouble.

    • @jasminevaliente96

I work with school children and they have selective hearing, sometimes you got to raise your voice not to demean them, but they literally will tune you out or act as if they can't hear you. You'll be trying to get your attention, and the more you try to get their attention the louder they get.

Yes they have people scarying them into thinking their children will be taken. I was of the mindset yeah they may come take these children, but they will see and give them back.
If you are so scared you let your children be verbally, mentally and sometimes even physically abusive in a way you would never allow someone else to treat you. You need to stop and give them something, because the world will. If they act like that the world wont love them like the parent does either
