To be fair, underthrowing a deep ball doesn't mean he has a noodle arm. It means he just underthrew it (which obviously still isn't a good thing, but Nassib has a very strong arm). And the "missed TD" at 1:26 was more to do with the receiver not turning the right way than it was to do with Nassib's pass. Nassib saw the safety to the inside and threw it to the outside where his receiver was open, but the receiver turned his head the wrong way so he wasn't able to get around to make the catch.
Nassib makes quick decisions, has good mechanics, good accuracy, good arm, can run the no huddle, and has good footwork. He was running a NFL offensive plays this year, which Jim Kelly gave Doug Marrone.
Louisville was ranked 9th in this game and went on to beat Florida in their bowl game and Nassib lit their asses up! This was an impressive game here for Nassib.
I'm not entirely sold on this kid atm. I like Mike Glennon as a steal in the 2nd round, if he even drops that far. But, don't always use college stats as a measuring stick. Dan Marino had a 55 pct completion, 17 TD's and 22 INT's in his final season in college. Yet, he's one of the best QB's of all time. The scouts look for certain things that they excel at and it's the coaches job to master their craft. Look at MJD for the Jaguars, he only rushed for 915 yards in his final season.
Have you seen Klein's throwing motion in Washington state? he sidearms the damn ball. I think younger Qbs are learning new throwing motions. I wouldn't take them out of it if it makes them uncomfortable though
how can you say that? He had a 63 completion, (very good), 78 TD's and 28 INT's. That's not bad for the team he plays for. The Scouts don't care if a player doesn't have 42 TD's and 6 INT's in college. Look at Brett Favre, he ended his college career with 55 percent completion, 6,770 yards passing and 39 TD's/22 INT's. Who cares about college stats? Look at Mark Brunell, 52 pct completion, 3,700 yards passing and 25 TD's and 16 INT's. Btw, I'M USING CAREER STATS. Faver is a HOF QB and Brunell AP
You have to find QB's with a massive upside. Aaron Rodgers didn't pass for 42 TD's and 6 INT's at CAL. He was a low-mid 20 TD passer. Now, he's a legit 30-40 TD passer. Look at Russell Wilson, AWESOME college stats, but he fell due to his size, now scouts are regretting not watching the tape. You can't always look at college stats. When a QB that is going to Tennessee and he's going to face inferior talent at Troy. It's not abnormal for a talent such as Bray to pass 500 yards and 6 TD's.
I'm a Bills fan and I don't like Nassib. It seems to me that he is just a younger Fitzpatrick. I think we need an EJ Manuel type guy. Great size, big arm, and could move. Doug Marrone hasn't done shit as HC and I think we're going to do worse if we keep being the Syracuse Bills
Why are so many Bills fans on here? For one, we aren't fair weather fans. And lastly, we want our team to find a good QB so that the team doesn't suck.
its all about scheme fit, the most talented QB doesnt always get drafted first! Capernick was gettin a lot of love in 2011, and yet both andy dalton and christian ponder went ahead of him! If nassib can prove that he has it between the ears ( and doug marrone should know this) then i dont see any reason why the bills shouldnt draft him! Smart teams grade QBs on a curve and then groom him-Bad teams draft Blaine Gabberts and then ruin their investments.
At first, Ryan Nassib looked like a quality NFL starter. But, the more I see him, the more I don't like what I see. His accuracy can be really off, and he doesn't have a whole lot of touch, Makes pretty quick reads, but his feet are all over the place... This is a bad year for QB's, outside of Barkley and Smith, the only other guys I really like are Manuel and Rodgers.
That's why looking stats doesn't tell you the entire story of a prospect. John Elway didn't have amazing college stats. Heck, neither did Troy Aikman. They saw the arm strength, superior football IQ. Let me give you an example. Akili Smith was AWESOME in college. His knock was his intelligence. He scored a fucking 4 on his wonderlic test. The Bengals took him anyways and he was fucking TRASH. Usually, 1st round QB's get an entire 3 years to prove themselves. This man never did, he was terrible.
The Browns are one of the saddest because they're among the 10 worst teams almost EVERY year. Congrats, you were the 6th worst this year. You were the 4th worst last year. Doesn't seem like you're getting out of the top 10 with a 30-year old QB and playing in a tough division.
First play he ruins the TD! That was all his fault. Noodle limpy armed QB.And he missed another TD at 1:26! "Perfectly placed ball" at 5:33? Wow. I guess when you make your receivers dive at the ground to catch a pass when he was WIDE open is spectacular eh? Jesus help us.
Geno Smith had a 72% completion rate. That's how. Who cares about stats?? UHHH the NFL does. All sports use stats. So according to your way of tihnking Tim Teebow should be one of the best quarterbacks in history. And Brett Favre sucked.
Check out our interview with Giants' rookie Ryan Nassib, on Larry King Now.

A little inaccurate at times but damn he's got a gun. Throw at 2:54 is a laser.
I love his quick release. Could be a gem for a team in need of a QB.

Buffalo's QB of the future!!! I am excited to see this kid throwing in a Bills uni next fall!
Louisville was ranked 9th in this game and went on to beat Florida in their bowl game and Nassib lit their asses up! This was an impressive game here for Nassib.
welcome to the new york giants!
Damn I'd never seen him throw but didnt want him but now that I've seen him I want him n the 2nd rd Buffalo!
5 teams are picking higher than the Browns, thank you.
No way I like Barkley way ahead of him and Smith!
actually strike my last point. his throwing motion is beautiful, he just has a damn quick release

He had a 64 percent completion for the 2012 season.
He's throwing Needles out there!!
Have you seen Klein's throwing motion in Washington state? he sidearms the damn ball. I think younger Qbs are learning new throwing motions. I wouldn't take them out of it if it makes them uncomfortable though
He's pretty much the bills qb next year
same thing if you watch their basketball games, camera is too leveled
i agree he shouldnt be reached just because the new hc was his old hc. if you invite him n geno i think we would know whos better
The cameras in the Carrier Dome need to be... elevated... or something. Something just looks off

Final season? You know he was injured for most of the season right?
welcome to the cardinals!
wait so are you saying klein has a beautiful release or nassib?
top 15 pick
Man McCarron won't even be a starter when he gets to the NFL

Could have something to do with Doug Maronne being hired by the bills.
I don't like Ryan Nassib, but it's safe to say that he is better than Sanchez already.
#15 on syracuse putting in work lol
A fan of any team should be nervous if their team takes him before the third round.
I'm a Bills fan and I don't like Nassib. It seems to me that he is just a younger Fitzpatrick. I think we need an EJ Manuel type guy. Great size, big arm, and could move. Doug Marrone hasn't done shit as HC and I think we're going to do worse if we keep being the Syracuse Bills
eh, im still feelin geno smith or matt barkley for the bills 1st round.. who care if he knows the scheme cuz it wasnt that great to start
Why are so many Bills fans on here? For one, we aren't fair weather fans. And lastly, we want our team to find a good QB so that the team doesn't suck.

"Brett Favre sucked"
was that a joke?
Okay, go to the Jets!
tebow just can't throw the ball well. big strong guy tru...somewhat of a winner..yet we definately don't need another guy that is limited. go bills!
How are they the saddest? They're probably 3rd.
But saddest? Easily the Raiders or Browns.
Nassib shows glimpses of greatness but he's not consistent in accuracy and seems a little turnover prone. Interesting QB though.

Holy shit is he innacurate!!!
Please buffalo please
@NeasePanters7
Guy looks good. Receivers can't catch. Think he proves successful with pro receivers. Go bills!

weird ass throwing motion
All I got to say is Ramma Jamma. Roll Tide. That boy is not a QB compared to McCarron. From what I see.
No idea why us Bills fans want this dude so bad. He's not even that good. He has NO accuracy. Backup QB at best. We should get Geno SMith or Sanchez.
Geno Smith had a 72% completion rate. That's how. Who cares about stats?? UHHH the NFL does. All sports use stats. So according to your way of tihnking Tim Teebow should be one of the best quarterbacks in history.

Stop being a Bills fan, you know nothing about football.
