Happy thanksgiving guys i love you all and am truly thankful to all my supporters ❤️ and help me pick a new game to play on the discord chat discord.gg/3urvHPu8pU 😅
[LORE SPOILER + explanation about the post credits scene, don't read if you haven't finished the game yourself yet] Withers is much, much more than an old walking corpse. He is actually Jergal, the very first god of Death in the Faerunian Pantheon. Jergal is nowadays almost forgotten about, at some point he got tired, or bored, he just had too much to do. When he stepped down from his divine status, he divided his power in three, elevating Baahl, Mirkul and Bane in his stead and enjoying a semi-retirement as a Seneschal, basically taking care of the paperwork when that was needed. More divine shenanigans happened. Baahl, Bane and Myrkul wanted more, they plotted against the super-mega-overgod Ao to steal from him and usurp his power (not going into details to not make this overly long). Ao got extra mad, all the gods were punished at once, becoming mortals and walking the earth during the "Time of Troubles". During that time, Baahl got killed, but he made sure to have hundreds of kids to help his return. All three more or less fell out of grace, still worshipped, but not all officially THE god of murder, tyranny or death, as they had been replaced in the meantime. You just saved the world from their plot in BG3. The Absolute was their "brillant" idea to reascend to full godhood and get back at Ao more powerful than ever. As Withers/Jergal said, however, their plan was fundamentally flawed: Gods get their power from the souls of mortals, but when one becomes a mindflayer, there's no soul to consume anymore, it's all gone. Long story short, Withers really said: "You guys can't fucking behave, you got humiliated by mortals, you're so damn cringe. I declare you three not even semi-gods anymore. You're nothing, your power is gone, and soon enough you'll all be forgotten." The End.
@@Fazolive You actually met another god at the party, Milil the bard is actually also a god too, obviously Jergal decided to pull a favour to get good music.
Congrats now tell us how you felt about the game vs other games and what was good and bad about it. And what game will you try next, Dragonage Veilguard?
GGs bro!! Glad you enjoyed this masterpiece fam ❤ And yeah each companion has several endings based on the decisions you made for them. Lol unfortunately it looks like your choices made Gale stuck with the "God of Ambition" ending.😂 its dope tho.
Congratz Fazo, I was super happy to follow you through your journey. There are things that happened in your adventure that you will regret, and it's absolutely fine, in my opinion you really played this first playthrough in the absolute best way: something imperfect, and yet super satisfying, and at the end of the day... all the more reason to play this game again later. Next year, and then the year after, and then once more later, and then maybe as some kind of ritual as time passes. BG3 is one of those games that will never age, much like the two first ones in my eyes, that I have replayed with the same joy as the very first time I played them (and shit that was more than 25 years ago for the first one!!). Looking at your video now, I wanna see what you have to say about all this at the end of all things.
Tbh this game was an amazing experience and journey I did not think we were going to complete it at first because of how vast it was and still is, but all the hours put in was well worth it, definitely one of my favorites walkthroughs on this channel!
Wow! This series has come to an end. Thank you for sharing your gameplay with us! Hope you have a blessed day! 💫 Look forward to your next series. I don’t have any games to suggest, but I’m sure others do! :)
Love the good ending you got for karlach I didn't know she could get this without romance ty for letting me know! Also ty for journey for letting me experience game again, I got 930 plus hours but rewatching the game with someone playing it for the first time is like playing it again fresh glad you enjoyed too!❤
Congratz on finishing the game bro im glad you enjoyed it as much as I did. I looked at your playlist, thought about what you might want to play next and came up with this list. 1. Divinity original sin 2 (Larian) The same people that made BG3 made this masterpiece first. IMO the story is actually better than bg3 but bg3 has the better polish and production. You can really see how far they came and where the money went from the previous success. The writing is excellent and the system, world, lore was all created by them so you see what they do with their own IP. Music is also outstanding and from the same guy as bg3. It is long but I think you'll enjoy it even if you dont stream it. 2. Mass Effect Trilogy (Bioware) I actually ignored this series for years because it looked boring from the outside and i wasnt crazy about the art design. Now its my favorite trilogy of all time. Great writing, great music, great chararcters, great storytelling, choices and consequences that follow you through all 3 games. The first one is about 30 hours and the next 2 are about 40-45 so it wont take forever to complete. 3. Nier Automata (Square Enix) Another game that I avoided because it looked empty and boring but man was I wrong. Probably one of the weirdest and most unique games ive ever played..in a good way. The story is deep, dark and emotional. You'll be thinking about it for a while after you finish. The music is S tier in my opinion and adds so much to the game I dont think it would be the same without it. 4. The Last of Us 1 & 2 (Naughty Dog) Considered to be one of if not the best story told in the post apocolyptic zombie world. Playing this with my kids was one of my best gaming experiences to date. If youre burned out by zombies like a lot of people the things that make it great is everything but the zombies. The people, the tension, the trauma, the trying to hold on to your humanity while staying sane is what makes the game what it is. I know a lot of people hated the sequel but I loved it (not everything about it but as a whole) and think it took balls of steel to write a story like that and put it out knowing people mgiht/would hate you for it. I havent played a game yet that matches that level of trauma. To quote my daughter on it "it was amazing but i never wanna play it again lol". That being said, if you plan to try it i highly advise against looking up anything about it because the spoilers are real. 5. Jedi Fallen Order & Jedi Survivor (EA) These 2 are pretty good of you like star wars. The first one is a bit janky and dated but the voice acting, cinematics and story are really good. A bit too heavy on the puzzles at times for my taste but other than that a really good game. The sequel fixes many of the flaws and improves a lot in most areas of the game. All in all theyre just fun to play and I think you'd enjoy streaming them. If you want more let me know but that should be a cool starter pack for you.
You can meet Jaheria's fam in the lower city in act 3, I think you just missed her house. Glad you made it all the way! Now you've gotta do a dark urge playthrough and do all the things you missed haha.
There is a way to save Karlach (in theory), but only playing as origin character as far as I'm concerned. I mean, there's another way to do it, but I'd argue if it's saving her.
Question: would you ever take a second run at BG3? I have done at least eight runs, each of them different. You may want to try Dragonage Veilguard after BG3, in keeping with the fantasy theme, but not with turn base combat, (but I hate to say it), more lore reading than BG3 (lol). I have tried it myself and it's light and fun. I am also trying The Witcher 3, as my friends have suggested.
I thought this game would be too annoying to play with a controller, and for someone who wasn't into BG2 and the other classic Forgotten Realms games. But you proved otherwise

Thankful for you this year!
Keep up the hogwarts legacy!

Wow it is so crazy how everything ties together this game is something 😭

Loved watching you play this - my favourite game ever! I'm on my 3rd run through and it's different every time!
Wow that’s just the beautiful thing about this game tbh

Uuugh what a great journey. What an utter joy to have watched. Gg. Still recommend you play slay the princess next lmao. Congratulations tho fr
Congrats ❤
Grats on beating BG3, was so fun watching you go through this incredible journey!
Another great series id reccomend if you havent tried it already is the mass effect trilogy.
I’ll look into it
