I thought I had to throw away my Dolce Gusto thinking I had broken something while removing the heat plate.This is a very common problem but you are the only one who took the time to solve it. Thank you Adrian for your videos. They are incredibly helpful. In one of your videos, you show how to address the issue whereby the diffuer plate isn't catching on the retainer clip. I'm having problems trying to get this to work. How do I take the front cover off so I can get to the retainer clip, as you show in your video?
Hi Adrian. When I saw the video title, i thought it's addressing my problem but obviously not. I suddenly started to have my machine not pressing well on my capsules (even if there's no capsule, the upper lever to press neddle has some resistance). Then, i think this caused another problem which is, my water trigger lever on top doesn't lock anymore.. I have to hold it until my coffee is filled and machine stops automatically. I believe there's a mechanical issue inside but before I tear the machine down, I'd like to ask you opinion; what could be the reason and fix for this? Thank you very much for enlightening us with your technical knowledge. Cheers...
Can you give me a reason why my hot and cold lever won’t stay in place in either hot or cold, but bounces back to the middle.? I’ve descaled the machine and cleaned the hole with the needle.
Hey, my switch doesn't stay in place when I want to make a coffee, when I move it to the cold or hot side it springs back to the middle and starts flashing red. Any ideas ?

good evening I have detached the piece of the regulator, unfortunately I can no longer reinsert it, what do I have to do in your opinion? thank you Elena
I took my bit out with the needle, however the unit to place it back into sprang upwards and now even though I've put it back in, it's not in the right position. When I life the lid up, the capsule holder won't fit in because the needle comes down. When I put the lid down the needle goes up but not enough for the capsule holder to go in. I'm stuck
I cleaned the diffuser opening because the machine was not ejecting water. But now I have a problem because water is leaking from the sides when making coffee. I removed the diffuser several times and put it back to make sure that it closed properly. It's still dripping off the floor
Cześć, mam ten sam problem tylko u mnie ten "klips" cofnął się na tyle że nawet przez dziurkę już go nie czuć, próbowałem go pociągnąć pęsetą ale bez skutku, masz jakąś rade jak to naprawić bez rozkręcania ekspresu?
Jeśli nie możesz go odgiąć, jak pokazałem na filmie, to jedynym sposobem jest odkręcenie osłon i wygięcie go od górnej części. Mam nadzieję, że rozumiesz, co tu napisałem. Używałem tłumacza google do pisania po polsku.

@@benassy69 Otworzyłem ekspres. Blaszka w środku jest całkiem pogięta, nie da się jej wyprostować, jest sposób żeby wyjąć ją całkiem z ekspresu? Jest strasznie twarda.
the most horrible construction ever, full of plastic clips that bend and breaks, 1 hour to take apart, 1 hour to put it back ... ....whoever designed this needs to be jailed. that o-ring at the base should be easy to change but no, they put that plastic cover fused with the case , even if you take those 2 screws out , still not enough , the plastic round cover is fused with the case.... this is made to be put in the bin, not repaired. this company needs to learn to design things properly.

My pods always get stuck inside especially Dolce Gusto ones but the Costa & Asda own brand ones don't ,i can't understand why this happens

Good evening. It means you have bent the retainer clip. Try to bend it back in place with a flat head screwdriver.

The diffuser rubber is damaged. :( I have a video on a quick fix on my channel just take a look. Better will be to purchase a new diffuser.
@@benassy69 Yes, I watched that video, felt a nice diffuser, but I couldn't find a thinner rubber band. It's a bit thicker so it won't close

I never took it out, it fell out by itself . The spring is dead after 5 years, your fix doesn’t work for me🥲
