Cool demo, I'm borrowing one from a friend so I can show a newbie the potential this machine has. I all ready gave a demo with the 150s and the 180 fusion but I think this size would be better start. Oh forgot to mention awesome flight Zoom!
Just bought my 230S yesterday and now have 2 batteries thru it. No flying skills anywhere close to this video! I rebound it today because it didn't seem right. I zeroed all of the switches and it definitely handled better. Unfortunately I was flying in a small place with wind and I still did pretty well. I'm coming from a Nano S3, Absolute sim and a Corona FP a loooong time ago.. Great heli!
And that was in Safe Mode right? Lol. Awesome flying to you! I am looking at getting one of these as a step up from the WL Toys V913 that I fly. I call it my flying bus. It cannot do anything like that. I have talked to several people that tell me this is the best helicopter to go with before flying my Align 450.
This is a great heli. I'm on my second 230s. The first one was the v1 and I got tired of calibrating it but my v2 is amazing, and I've never had to calibrate it even after 60+ flights. The safe mode will get you confident enough to fly in full throttle up mode before long and the panic/recovery button has saved it several times. Just a great heli.
Wet well done buddy I love mine I was doing some 3D with mine the other day and I did a nice smooth loop and turned it to roll over and the back of my chassis busted where the tail boom skids in at and I got it down and landed before it crashed but I saved the helicopter but watch out and look really good at the back before you keep doing hard 3D like you and I do it be better if you went a head and got the upgrade kit for it they had to give me a new helicopter do to a weak chassis
I tell you what, that is some great flying right there!! I was all convinced to get the Blade Fusion 270, but seeing what the 230s v2 is capable of, I'm going to keep a few dollars in my pocket and get this instead.
Man this is one serious little Heli I just bought this 1 yesterday and I definitely cannot fly like that I've only flown 4 channel helis before but I am looking forward to getting to know how to do this stuff that is badd a**
Awesome flying! Just got this Heli? What is cyclic parameter 4 and how do you adjust it. Cyclic response is very minimal for flips in stock configuration and looking for more
Dude!!!!! How did you get this good? I’ve spent so much money over the years buying, crashing, and fixing up r/c helis trying to be a quarter of this good. Did you use an r/c simulator for a while?
Mine will not allow me to get into advanced settings. What am I missing? Also even in Agility mode if I let go of the sticks it levels itself out just like stability mode? Does yours do that?
it is tail heavy a bit. Especially with the stock 800mAh battery. After fitting a 1300mAh in there it gets more balanced. A 1300mAh does fit, but then it's a bit difficult to put on the canopy. The holes on the canopy's side should be adjusted. That's what I'll do to mine.
Wow! I am so impressed by your driving skills. Congratulations. I am thinking to go into heli. I would like to hover slowly over the ground very low . But on RealFlight sim I only crash it, it is unstable. I hope in real life I could find a stable heli to begin and progress. Would this 230Sv2 be a good choice?
Luke AtThat keep practicing in real flight. Maybe you can turn on auto level so you can feel how it is like. That is how this heli is. It has auto level when you are learning and can go up as you progress
thank you for your answer. I did not know I could use auto level. I will try. I do not see any Blade heli in RealFlight... Which heli would be the closest? www.realflight.com/products/rf8/gpmz4550.php?moreinfo=aircraft#about
I just bought the 230S yesterdy and have 2 batteries thru it now. I recommend the Nano S3 first. Way easier to fly, only $100-$120 BnF and is capable of 3D. I'm getting very comfortable with it and will fly it before the 230S to warm up.
1.The heli seems quieter than the V1. When I switched to idle 2 I thought it did not work as it was still pretty quiet. 2. There were no tip over tendencies taking off on safe mode. When the heli initially starts taking off, it does lean ever so slightly to the right which is normal as helis hover tilted to the right a little. 3. Tail performance is much improved. If you ask me, the biggest difference from the V1 is the tail. This new heli has great hold and it I feel it stops much more consistent and faster as well. This is for sure 2 thumbs up.
I just picked up this Blade 230s v2. My prior experience is with 4-channel fly bar copters, such as WLToys v912 and 913 brushless, both. I have no experience with collective pitch flying, so in the 3 flights I've taken thus far, I remain is Safe Mode. But I wondered if you might clarify, as the Blade instructions go into no detail about how to fly in modes FM1 and FM2. So I experimented a bit, and selected FM1 while it was on the ground. With no throttle input, the rotor spooled up as soon as I switched to FM1. Is this the way is supposed to operate?
scooderdude Yes, FM1 and 2 are for very experienced pilots. It is intended for a full aerobatic flight. I suggest getting on the simulator first and get yourself familiar how the helis behave on those flight modes as it is drastically different. The spool up you experience is normal at that mode.
You must not fly or know what you are talking about. Better fbl unit, better esc for tail hold, bigger main gear and its cheaper since the dont come eflite puffing lipos. V2 flatout performs better then the v1
Chris Blair thats your only complaint? seriously? What do you want, angels singing? Sounds good to me. I am buying one. Show me something better in that class. I dare you.
the helicopter left the screen - why couldnt you land in front of the camera? why was the cam so shaky while you were talking? this is some of the worst cam work ive seen,, thumbs down

Bought one, 6 weeks ago.... love it !! Flying it with DX6e, perfect for this Heli 🚁
Just bought one of these. And am a new member at that club. Lol
Awsome flight!!
I purchased one of these from Motion RC about a month ago. Great little heli ! 🚁
Just got this baby. Steppin up from the nano, spent the last couple hrs programming. I did a bit of hovering in 3d but thats it.
And that was in Safe Mode right? Lol. Awesome flying to you! I am looking at getting one of these as a step up from the WL Toys V913 that I fly. I call it my flying bus. Hello, great Video
I also have a 230s v2 and wanted to ask how you change the said parameter on Spektrum
Awesome flying man, is this a stock set up or did you change anything? I never knew this helicopter is capable of this type of 3-D.
Nice flying man!! 😁🤘
In thinking of getting into heli flying, do you think it's a heli to begin with?
This is a great heli. I'm on my second 230s. The first one was the v1 and I got tired of calibrating it but my v2 is amazing, and I've never had to calibrate it even after 60+ flights. Nice 3D flight with the blade 230S! whats your throttle curve you used? percentages would be good :) thanks

Brad Dixon Thanks! If you are a smooth flyer the 230S V2 is the heli for you. If you like hard smack then the Fusion 270 is the one.
What are your pitch setting and tail and head pid settings please
Which transmitter did you use for this flight and is the voice giving flight time remaining apart of the transmitter?
Man this is one serious little Heli I just bought this 1 yesterday and I definitely cannot fly like that I've only flown 4 channel helis before but I am looking forward to getting to know how to do this stuff that is badd a**

I got this Heli, its a great one. Is there any video tutorial on how to do aerobatics with this one?
lol. there are a lot of Sims out there.
Dude!!!!! How did you get this good? I’ve spent so much money over the years buying, crashing, and fixing up r/c helis trying to be a quarter of this good. Did you use an r/c simulator for a while?
Lots of sim time for sure! when I was learning, I spent about 12 to 14 hours a week
@@zoomtt damn dude, no kidding. Thanks man, I’ll prolly invest in a sim first before I take some risky chances. lol
Mine will not allow me to get into advanced settings. What am I missing? Also even in Agility mode if I let go of the sticks it levels itself out just like stability mode? Does yours do that?
Brad Lundstrom Sr it sounds like the gear channel is not programed properly. That is what controls the modes.
well I tried the owners manual settings switch B. I guess I will try FMode instead see what that does. Thanks anyway.
Wow ☺
is this heli tail heavy like ive heard? can yo ufit 3s 1300 lipo on there?

Nice flying! How does the V2 compare to the V1 in you honest opinion? Thanks

Good to hear . Mine will be here Friday ! awesome flying man

Fly's as good as the V1! Does not matter which one u buy V1 or V2 The difference is in the pilot!
You must not fly or know what you are talking about. Better fbl unit, better esc for tail hold, bigger main gear and its cheaper since the dont come eflite puffing lipos. V2 flatout performs better then the v1
I have the 230s but I do not know how to fly 3d🤷🏽♂️
Rafael Rivera fly it how you like! 😉
Sad, the tail sound is still horrible on the V2 Version.
The sound is less on the V2 compared to the V1. This is due to the redesigned tail blade. But yes you can still hear it on hard moves.
Chris Blair thats your only complaint? seriously? What do you want, angels singing? Sounds good to me. I am buying one. Show me something better in that class. I dare you.

wtf man fuck yourself
Says the guy who bought it and probably couldn't figure out how to take off without doing a blade strike. Hahhaa
This guy!
