@@Stella-ARG no problem at all. They decided on not having extra time because it’s so many games in such a short window, and between the domestic FA cup, some teams already having played in 2023 CONCACAF Champions League March-June, the domestic 34 game seasons, plus league playoffs having extra time in this addditional tournament would put too much strain on the players, plus some teams just flop around for most of extra time and don’t actually try to do anything anyways. Something else I liked in the group stage was the point system. If a match ended in a tie, each team got 1 point, but then it went to a shootout for a bonus 2nd point. So: 3 pts regulation win, 2 pts for a shootout win after a tie, 1 pt for a shootout loss after a tie, 0 pts for regulation loss

The attendance is due to Messi.. they draw decent crowds but nothing like that. Messi is amazing. Miami is in lady place and he shows up they win 4 straight with what 2 wins over Liga MX teams.
Perhaps in Dallas but MLS has pretty good attendance in the more major markets. ATL constantly brings in 60-80k as just one example. You can guarantee that every place Messi plays will be a sell out though.

They don't get 30% of the attendance in regular games but because of Messi - it was sold out. Stadium sits 20,000 fans. Regular season ticket is 20 dollars but when it opened on Wednesday for this game, it was going at 300-400 dollars and it was sold out in 10 mins. Resale market is where ppl where making their money at 1,000 dollars plus & ppl were still buying it to go watch Messi play.
Ferreira plays for the national team, but he's like the 4th choice as a striker. 1st Balogun 2nd Josh Sargent (Norwich) 3rd Ricardo Pepi (PSV) 4th Ferreira
Well, he certainly can’t go to Miami. Would be hilarious if he went to Orlando. I’d love for him to come to my Charlotte, but I doubt that. Either way they can’t bring him over now, the MLS transfer window has closed. They can only sign free agents now.
as an American that doesn't watch soccer can anyone explain to me how defending a shoot out goal isn't pure luck? seem like the goalie doesn't really have any chance at blocking the shot if the shooter takes even a halfway decent shot. am I wrong?
It's a bit of luck and also prediction. Some goalies are better at predicting where the ball is going to go and diving in that direction. But that's easier said than done. Also the fact that the player kicking the ball is also nervous and can make mistakes. It's 50% skill and 50% head games in penalty shootouts. In the last world cup, the Argentinian goalie made some spectacular saves during the game and during the penalty shootout.
well, the last three games, he was amazing. I would not blame him, the worst was Gomez, very nervious, bad passes, losing ball all the time, that put Miami in a bad spot a few times.
Yeah I dont think he is that bad, really. I saw these last three games and he was good, at least he delivered what was needed. This one was not his match tho but every player has bad games even Messi had.
Well, To be honest, The difference between Miami and The other teams, Talent, tactics, stragety... is surprisingly signifigant just after couple of games. Watch Miami-Charlotte! What a slaughter! Should have been at least 7-0. And Messi is maybe using like 40% of his Talent, but he is committed To play anywhere and everywhere on The pitch.😢

Regular season ticket is 20 dollars but when it opened on Wednesday for this game, it was going at 300-400 dollars and it was sold out in 10 mins. Resale market is where ppl where making their money at 1,000 dollars plus & ppl were still buying it to go watch Messi play.
The defender couldent resist getting assisted by the goat
The cheapest tickets for that game were like $400 for resale.
5 goles de argentinos... Quignon, Velasco, cremaschi y 2 de Messi
He wants an assist from Messi
Hope you enjoyed the baseball brawl over the weekend
Dallas is mid table in the western conference... So likely somewhere in the mid teens overall.
MESSI participated in the 4 goals of Miami
Imagine what he'd have done 10 years ago when he was at his peak.
Ferreira plays for the national team, but he's like the 4th choice as a striker.
1st Balogun
2nd Josh Sargent (Norwich)
3rd Ricardo Pepi (PSV)
4th Ferreira
Enjoy your Houston hat, yea, want Dallas to win but am and always will be a Messi fan
Messi, Ronaldo and Pelé are the top 3 best players in history
David Beckham ate at the BBQ shop a mile up the road from our house. Here in Dallas. Wtf?
MLS doesn’t have the history or the players I know the premier league has but it’s a different style of 🦶 ⚽️ & it’s on the way up.
I don’t know how much stock I’d put into these rumors, but there are now talks that MLS may try to bring Kylian Mbappe over too.
@@chrisb5000 If im correct, in the WC Emi Martinez predicted the side of the ball in 7 of 9 penalties. Crazy.
9:10 HOW
Dallas FC screwed me big time😡 After they scored the 3/1, I put $300 bet for them🤦♀️ I should haven’t trust them😭😭😭
"He loves to win" Who doesnt?
Starting to love soccer thanks to messi why was this sport hidden from me
It was here all along glad you’re enjoying it now👍
Not trying to hate but why would I want a Wrexham kit thats spelled wrong lmao
It was a joke as it’s spelt in Welsh.
i guess he was trying to head it over with power?
can‘t blame him though if he wanted to scored off a messi pass😅 beautifully floated in fk
😂❤
The Goat 🐐 🩷
😊
What if Ronaldo decided to come to MLS to battle Messi? 😨
wrexham
That Miami Keeper is garbage.
well, the last three games, he was amazing.
Rigged game
Wrexham
Idk this sht looks rigged 🤣🤣
lmao how? this is not boxing that you can rigg it easy
This cup is rigged for mls specially inter miami
@@Chris-us6xj you can tell it's ai lol
Brother he's just that good. Enjoy him while he still laces his boots because there is nobody doing this again in my lifetime.
You guys are finally doing a leagues cup video🥲 you guys have made my day. Vamos Miami!!!!!
Well, To be honest, The difference between Miami and The other teams, Talent, tactics, stragety... is surprisingly signifigant just after couple of games. Watch Miami-Charlotte! What a slaughter! Should have been at least 7-0. And Messi is maybe using like 40% of his Talent, but he is committed To play anywhere
and everywhere on The pitch.😢
Wrexham
