This video was absolutely fantastic - thank you for making it. First one I've seen of yours, time for a binge! I've only read a little of this book but loved it, like I do chocolate cake and other greasy foodstuffs. The way the words sound, stutter and flow, and iterate on themselves makes the reading experience very mouthy. This is some of the only text I can think of that has a mouthfeel like eating does. I love the focus on food: perhaps eating - like living rather than reading - is an authentic way of accessing and learning about the world. When we digest we allow something outside us to become-with us, and then we leave our mark behind. Such rich prose, I can't way for the next part.
