The way Simon was throwing it, I thought the Trail was going to be a 10 speed Detour. The fact that it's more like a 10 speed Hex is no disappointment at all though 😏
I play almost exclusively woods golf so the trail will be making it in the bag for sure. Honestly feels like Conrad's line is more geared towards woods golf over big open golf course golf. I got the email y'all got some preorders so I'll make sure to pop my order in.
@@TheStrangerlol appreciate it 👊 Yeah the Conrad line is full of smoothies that are great for the woods. The Terra was kind of slept on I think. Maybe bc it came out before Simon/Eagle blew up MVP
@@ArmoryDiscGolf I have a buddy that loves his but I've been throwing the Thunderbird and Alpha for that slot depending on the stability I need. I've thought about breaking in an electron one and seeing how much it loses in the mid flight stability wise while holding the end hook up.
Bro... the crave is my favorite disc... and now I have to buy a trail? DAMNIT. I also really really get this same "pushing straight" vibes from the Photon. Especially the fission Photon.
I’m pumped for this release! Been waiting to see what the real would be and it looks just about perfect. Wouldn’t mind a more stable run to compliment it
For clarification. 6:50 Was that a dyed Eclipse Glitch or the Plasma Glitch from the tournament? Glitch and Pitch in my bag & FH dominant. (Taking notes over here 😅)
I typed out a response to this but it looks like TH-cam bounced it for some reason- I think there's a significant enough difference because of their respective speeds- if I threw the Crave like I threw that turnover that went OB, the Crave would have held all the way over and maybe even cut rolled. But in their respective slots they fly very similar, which I love
I bag the Wave in three different plastics: fission, proton, and cosmic Neutron. Would the Trail be a valuable addition to my bag? Or would it be redundant.
I haven't thrown a Tenacity so I can't compare personally. But I do know that I prefer the 10 speed rim, some of MVP's fast stuff feels too bulky for me
because #orangediscsflybetter ...also when I started thinking about doing a monochrome bag about 3-4 of my 5-6 most thrown discs were orange so I started there and didn't look back 👍
@@ArmoryDiscGolf, exactly. Their molds range from average to above average, same for their plastic. Nothing great, nothing to complain about. In their 50+ year history they have only ever had 4 must have discs, the Cyclone, X-Clone, Buzzz, and Zone. Two have been rendered obsolete, and the other two have been copied by every other company in existence. I don't want to say anything bad about them, but it seems their designs have been, well, uninspired.
Conrad line is the best by far. Detour is my favorite mid, and I can't wait for the trail.

I agree, Conrad has some awesome discs in his line, def gonna pick up the Trail.
Great video! Cant wait to test my proto trail and eventually a stock run
Still waiting on the proto from the pro shop?

You're right, the Fission Photon is very straight for it's slot, now that you mention it. Gotta be the gyro haha

It'll be interesting to see when they start putting them out in other plastics. As with most things MVP, I am impatiently craving it in Proton haha
"Bogies build character" is going in the quote bank for sure.
ngl the Pitch putting is feeling more dialed from 50 than 20 👀

@@raidonbay it was a dyed Eclipse Glitch, good eye. Same one at 1:50 👍
Not my favorite thing to forehand but it'll do the trick
Great video, even better putt!
Thank you thank you 👊
I got some glow Valkyries and some PFN beasts that are dead straight for about 325-350ft.
I think that you sold me on the Trail.
I watched Brain Sweet's recent video on it. So double sold now.
haha fully committed now. It's great
Is there a significant distance difference between the Crave and the Trail?

It's hard to say without knowing how you throw, but the Trail is going to be more stable than the Wave in general
Fun video
those shoes 👀
Looks to fly exactly like my Tenacity.
I haven't thrown a Tenacity so I can't compare personally. But I do know that I prefer the 10 speed rim, some of MVP's fast stuff feels too bulky for me
It is a DGA Undertow with an overmold.
How does it compare to the new Discmania TD
I haven't thrown the TD 🤷♂️
I heard you talking about a self imposed closed bag over the weekend. My question is why the orange?
because #orangediscsflybetter
...also when I started thinking about doing a monochrome bag about 3-4 of my 5-6 most thrown discs were orange so I started there and didn't look back 👍
I tend to lean towards pink discs for some reason.
Those putts!
Glitch world champ!!!! Haha
spoiler alert: turns out I'm NOT the Glitch World Champion 😂
I would bet you real money, that if McBeth left Discraft that the internet would be FILLED with people saying they don't like Discraft plastic.
I just don't get the hype 🤷♂️ They make some good feeling stuff but most of it is verrrry mid

Was this a video about the Trail or the Pitch? That thing better not leave your bag.
Also, why aren't your shoes orange?
well it was SUPPOSED to be about the Trail haha
New Vessis, who dis? I need to petition them to make some in orange...
