There's multiple reasons for it mainly it doesn't show case how good the phone is in real world usage, i don't think there are programs to test web browsing, loading times etc unlike PCs.Also Each benchmark focus on widely different aspects of performance ( burst vs sustained use , 3d vs 2d graphics), often at extreme lvls.
I've seen a copious amount of Pixel 9/Pro/XL videos since the launch event. This by far, is the best I've seen as far as presentation. You put this video together masterfully. Thanks for sharing your experience so skillfully.

The majority who buy phones aren't video editing etc so they won't notice the differences the same way that someone such as yourself would. I don't game much if at all on my phone and i never edit content on it i take a photo very rarely and use it for browsing, video watching and replying to texts/emails so i wouldn't notice it. My pixel pro xl arrives today i got it in rose quartz 😊 upgrade from an iphone 13 pro i've been using and enjoyed for 3 years but it is starting to show it's age with the bezels,notch, speed,brightness etc and after 5 years of IOS i'm bored and want a change 😄. Folks, all these tech TH-camrs get the phone in advance and google places an embargo on when they can actually launch their review. TH-camrs well then finalize the review in advance, and set it to publish right when the embargo is lifted (eg. Aug 21st, 1pm est). This is why a bunch of reviews drop at the exact same time

The only thing that I don't like about Samsung phones (I'm currently using an S23 Plus) is Samsung's branded bloatware. Samsung really needs to stop this. We don't two different app stores that have the exact same apps, Samsung, and for the love of God, ALLOW US TO UNINSTALL THE BLOATWARE! The bloatware makes the phone feel cheap when, in reality, it isn't.
samsung patched the work around ive been using for years on my 21ultra and it reinstalled all those junk apps and cant delete them so will be getting the pixel instead as 90 percent of the defaults on my phone were google
@@NewberntrainsImo, the pixel BY FAR feels the most "iphone" like of any android phones. You dont have all the bloatware the samsung has, its all really seamless exactly like iPhone.

My iPhone 15 Pro Max has phenomenal battery life. I’m currently at 8 hours and 35 minutes of screen time with an hour and 46 mins of screen idle time (TH-cam music mostly) and I still have 22% battery… Since I got it in early October, it has given me about an 1hr of continuous use before it even comes off of 100% in the mornings. There have been many occasions in that time where I have gotten a solid two days on a single charge with at least six hours of screen time. This is my very first iPhone and in the 13+ years that I used android before switching… I have never gotten anywhere close to that.
Every test I've seen so far from credible tech. Reviews and put the screen on time. Stand by time hours ahead of the iPhone 15 pro. Max I i'm astonished
For me, the Pixel 9 Pro XL is the phone of the year. As someone with a disability, I love the voice command feature-it's just impeccable, even better than on the iPhone. The streamlined and minimalist Android interface, especially in the settings, is another strong point. However, I'm not ready to switch from my iPhone just yet for the simple reason that the iPhone is still superior in terms of photo and video quality. The day Google understands that instead of focusing on unnecessary artificial intelligence, they should focus on surpassing the iPhone in photo and video capabilities, it will be a game-changer. You’re capable of it, Google-you have the money and the talent to surpass Apple. What are you waiting for?
Great video! I was a Nexus/Pixel user for many years, but I switched to Samsung a few years ago. I've been using the S23 Ultra, which I love, but there are little features on the Pixel that I actually really miss. Like call screening (Samsung's version never worked properly for me) and the "now playing" always available on the screen. I just ordered the Pixel 9 Pro XL, and it should be arriving later today. Really excited to dive back into the Pixel world!

You really know how to capture chill scenes with you in them, almost as a third person, to where the viewer feels like they are there with you. This is what Pixel 6 lineup should have been like imo.No random connection drops, severe thermal throttling,Poor battery backup and also other minor inconveniences which when added up made it seem like a bad choice. I'm low key excited to see how their TSMC foundry Tensor SoC will fare over the existing Samsung one.

I know it’s very superficial but i always want to know what the phone would look like to someone I’m hanging with. I know, very vain. Also, the Twitter photo loading issue has been a thing now for roughly 18 months. Have a search, you can see a dev for the mobile team put a tweet out asking for people's experience and lots of people slated. Benchmarking doesn't matter also! You spent the video praising the phone, and then showed some benchmarks. Does it matter if you've enjoyed the phone?

I was going to upgrade my s22 Ultra to the 9pro xl. But with all the shortcomings and lack of storage for the price, while deep discounts for the S24ulltra. I went with the S24 ultra. I love the aesthetics of the Pixle 9 pro xl but you dont get enough to justify the new price point. The tensor chip and camara needs further improvements to make google more appealing to me. This is coming from a guy that loved the google nexus device's. Google definitely took a step back with the pixel line. Going from andriod hardware leaders to playing neverending catch up.

I thought I honestly would have returned my Pixel 9 PRo XL already over my team orange 🧡 S24U. But I'm really enjoying it. If Samsung changes the design like the rumors. The S25U will be solid.
This is a great review. I currently have the pixel 8 pro. One of the things I wish pixel can improve on is the dim feature. I wish it was more dimmed. Also, I wish there was an adaptive white balance for the display. It's too cool when indoors and it hurts my eyes so I usually will turn on night light feature. Also, I do hope they will improve when taking pics for 50 MP, it will process faster.

I was going to upgrade my s22 Ultra to the 9pro xl. But with all the shortcomings and lack of storage for the price, while deep discounts for the S24ulltra. I went with the S24 ultra.
I love the aesthetics of the Pixle 9 pro xl but you dont get enough to justify the new price point. The tensor chip and camara needs further improvements to make google more appealing to me.
This is coming from a guy that loved the google nexus device's. Google definitely took a step back with the pixel line. Going from andriod hardware leaders to playing neverending catch up.

I was impressed how the Gemini Live bugged at one point on potential rural wedding venues and then when you asked if it remembered, it confirmed and carried on as though there had not been the interruption!!! I thought I honestly would have returned my Pixel 9 PRo XL already over my team orange 🧡 S24U. But I'm really enjoying it. If Samsung changes the design like the rumors. The S25U will be solid.
This is a great review. I currently have the pixel 8 pro. One of the things I wish pixel can improve on is the dim feature. I wish it was more dimmed. Also, I wish there was an adaptive white balance for the display. It's too cool when indoors and it hurts my eyes so I usually will turn on night light feature.
Also, I do hope they will improve when taking pics for 50 MP, it will process faster.

I'm loving my 9 pro XL, but I'm honestly looking forward to a 45mm version of the watch 3. The pixel watch is my favorite smartwatch design, it was always just too small so I'm psyched for the new 45 variant and that was the first thing that I ordered

I think you’re underestimating iOS 18 and 18.1 update for the iPhone when it actually drops. Plus I’m hearing iPhone 16 pro has some pretty nice camera upgrades coming.
