    IR emitter: just snatch an 3.5mm old headphone jack and solder 2x IR diodes (opposite parallel) from old R/C on the L/R terminals of jack: Now you have a DIY powerful IR blaster ready. Doesn't cost anything since all these are from "junks" at home. Just maximize all the settings on the App (tested on Zaza Remote App) to get good powerful transmit of signal......WOKRS GR8. (Don't even use a penny on such little things).

    • @TheHiTechNomad
      @TheHiTechNomad  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can control any device that has an infrared connection. So if the Drone Works via infrared then yes, you could control it with this. Most of the drones I'm familiar with use radio frequencies rather than infrared since infrared works on line of sight.

    Damn, I bought the IR adapter. I used the app and im guessing because i have an android 10, it doesnt work. The app does turn off the TV bur it does not give me any options to save the remote much less give me other options like menus etc. This sucks

    • @TheHiTechNomad
      @TheHiTechNomad  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      There are many adjustments the fact that it turns your TV on and off means it is able to communicate with it you may have to go through the many profiles and find the exact one for your TV or maybe one model just before or just after it but again if it's turning the TV on and off it is talking to it so you should be able to control it there was also a mode to allow you to create your own control using the old physical controller

    • @TheHiTechNomad
      @TheHiTechNomad  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I am not had any issues with it myself personally I do know that it is a foreign app.
      Foreign apps that ask for a lot of permissions fall into two categories; security risk or sloppy coding.
