    TH-cam cannot stop or silence me when I am here to claim how cinematically sexy this short film is. Classic Coyote flare mixed with some sinister visuals - the comic strips are my favorite. Sound editing always a whirlwind, love the return of drone shots.

      Yes! My favourite shots were of the newspaper comics! And it’s always nice to put some drone shots in there, Thank you! 🙏

    So good, as usual. It is almost unfair how you seem to have an endless supply of retro aesthetically pleasing props to use in all of your movies.

    Not trying to knock anything you’re doing, it’s clear cinematography is more of your focus and that’s great, phenomenal job for how early on you are with your filmmaking journey. It’ll never end I promise you.
    Little tip though, when it comes to writing and story structure. Try to grab your audience attention in the first 15 seconds if it’s a short with something to already push your narrative forward. The plot along with the pacing is a bit slow and boring and has a lot of cliches, nevertheless try and focus more time on story structure in pre production, before jumping to production. Looking forward to seeing more!

    • @coyotestudios1
      @coyotestudios1  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks for the advice!! Yes I totally agree, some of my short films are just me learning cinematography, but that era is over now, I’m trying to focus on storytelling at the moment! We have something really cool coming!

      Looking forward to seeing more of your work and seeing you grow as a filmmaker! It’s a difficult ride to pursue alone so always reach out to your local groups and forums to find like minded individuals who wanna help one another out! Takes a village to make a film, keep growing 🫡

    it's good...great concept, great cinematography. only colors were very saturated. but there is also one continuity mistake. when boy calls for the mike on the road. 180 degree rule between both boys is not followed. hence it looks boy is looking at something else then on mike. if mike was in the left of the screen, his friend( I cudnt get his name clearly, may be clarke), clarke sud have been on the right side of the screen. one front shot of both boys cud have solved the problem. sometimes its good to break the 180 degree rule but it looks great only in action scenes because it moves so fast. like the speeding car insert shot towards the mike was done. rest is great. i also aims to direct my films and post on youtube but I don't have money to buy camera and lens. i am waiting for the day...i grab one bmpcc 6k pro and kits. so that I can show my talent. i know smartphone are great too and yes I am going to start with that. waiting for next short film.
