i phreaking HATE Ice Planets. Or Deserts. Or jungles... tbh i don't like a mono-regions neither in movies nor games. some variation has to be in my opinion. That doesn't apply to things like cyberpunk where the city is not only a setpiece, but an enemy too. but even there you've got some badlands. at least in the tabletop and game adaption. BUT(!) i love the simple ran of traveller. mono-space is something else tbh.
