Hi Molly :) As an italian living abroad i feel very proud and happy that you enjoyed my beautiful country , i have not been there since 2017 and feel very much nostalgic about it (especially for the food :D ) the protest you saw in Piazza Del Duomo were unfortunately against the "Green Pass" (which shows your vax status ,negative test or recovery from Covid19) and anti vax i believe. Also as future reference "Bruschetta" (is read Brusketta with the K sound not the SSH sound) sorry but it breaks my heart every time i hear it and my boyfriend is english so i have to hear it a lot as well Lol :D . Love to watch all of your videos by the way , you always keep me so much company and like everyone is saying thanks for the effort you put into them ! I never been to the north of england but hopefully i will get to visit next year so if you want we can swap recommendations between italy and where is good to go in the North let me know :) .ps sorry for the long comment :D

Hi! I'm usually impressed by all your hard work to make cool videos but taking a cheap flight just for the sake of flying in times of the climate crisis strikes me as irresponsible (seeing as you have such a large platform). Sorry to criticise, I hope you don't take it the wrong way!
I’ve replied to a comment like this already but I’ll say it again, firstly thank you for watching my channel! Second, we would have gone away this weekend regardless because we’d kept it free to do so, this was just purely a way to pick the location to explore, much like the ‘postcode lottery’ I uploaded last week, I just like making travel content where I go somewhere new & sadly for as long as Ryanair sell flights for this price you’re always going to get people going on them for cheap that are looking for a bargain or an easy and affordable way to travel to Europe - what I do wanna add is that whenever I travel I always pay to offset the carbon emissions & this is a feature that Ryanair now have as an automatic extra when you book direct with them, you have to actually opt out of it if you don’t want to pay that, I probably should have said that within the video & I know that doesn’t make it better per say, but creating travel content for work & also wanting to travel the world for pleasure is a hard one to navigate and get right online - I apologise if you think this missed the mark, and I definitely should have explained it better, but I definitely don’t want you to think we did this for the sake of it, Tom & I love going on city breaks and would have gone regardless of if I was filming it for TH-cam, and I think (I hope) you can see from the video that this wasn’t ‘just for the sake of flying’ And when I do videos similar in the future I’ll be sure to mention this side of it more - it’s is something I’m very aware of
normally love your travel challenges but i just wanna point out that cheap flights are horrible for the environment and we shouldnt encourage / promote them as they really are a massive contribution to destroying the planet! of course this isnt your fault but ryanairs, but just wanted to point it out ❤

I do definitely see this side of it and with travel it’s SUCH a difficult one to get right, for as long as Ryanair sell flights at this price they’re always gonna get people going on them, and people (like me) who are looking for a bargain or to travel on a budget - usually they’re always the last seats on a plane they can’t fill, so sell off to fill the plane. I know it makes it no better - I absolutely agree with you, whenever I fly I pay to offset my carbon emissions within the flight booking, this is something Ryanair now have as an automatic feature when you book direct with them, you have to actually opt out of it when checking out which I do think is a helpful step, although probably not enough - creating travel content and wanting to travel the world and also document it and how best to go about it on a budget whilst being environmentally conscious is still an area I’m trying to navigate tho, but thank you for your comment being constructive and not nasty x
