I absolutely loved your video! One reason might be that I'm French so I was very pleased to know that you were visiting my country (and I had guessed it right on your insta stories!) I was quite impressed by your level of French! At the same time, as I'm about to start my career as a French teacher in the UK, I'm glad to see that not all French teachers efforts are vain haha. That's also so nice of you to have actually spoken in French in the video, because I'm sure that a lot of English teens and young adults (and maybe you too) are a little embarrassed when speaking another language, but they shouldn't be!
On that note, I now know that when I walk around town in the UK with a baguette in my hands, which I do at least once a week, people immediately think that I'm French 😂

I go to Carcassonne every other year!! It's so beautiful with all the quaint houses and fountains and near so many other great cities too. The castle is a must-see and lovely to walk around, even if it does get ridiculously hot 😂 For a few years it used to have really cool yellow spirals around the turrets. So glad you got to visit my favourite French city ☺

I went to Carcassone! I was on my year abroad this year in Toulouse so I went there for a day trip, definitely a nice place to visit
You should definitely do this with other parts of the world, maybe a map of the states and do a video going to that state! Such a good video x

What a wonderful idea and shoutout to Harry for finding such a unique and interesting destination (and for missing Ukraine by a wide swath). Had you stayed longer the possibility of adding an "Andorra" stamp to your passport (3 hrs away) should have been quite tempting!
As far as French goes, (Canadien) French is my native language and I would have been very nervous to try actual French with actual Frenchmen. So good on you for even trying!
Babbel would have come in quite handy when I was living/working in Göteborg (Sweden) for the short time before the restrictions forced us to leave. Most city dwelling Swedes speak and understand English, and tryng to figure out Swedish was fun, but some phrases would have been helpful!

yeah I meant just a really old train haha, northern rail use a lot of them but I forget that my family sort of coined that phrase and it's not their actual name hahaaa
