If you use the strumming pattern: down, down-up down-up down-up then it'll sound more like the way TØP does it but the way in the video sounds nice too

Nah, your explanations are wonderful; they essentially eradicate any guesswork I would have had to do (pertaining to proper fingering, chord transition, etc.) if I'd just looked up the chords on my own. As someone who has only recently started to play, I think you should know that I always reach the end of your videos having learned something new that I can apply in practice, which leads to progression (incrementally, but hey, progress is progress), which leaves me feeling great. The amount effort you put into your tutorials is clearly visible, and it really does make a difference.

I think I have the strumming down, but switching to each chord is sooooo hard XD

+ωнιяl I'm so glad that you're learning how to play :). I know how hard it can be when you're trying to learn a new instrument. My advice would be to focus on one thing at a time. For now, just strum down and focus on the chord changes. Once you have the chords and the counts memorized, try adding the strumming pattern. Another thing that helps my students is to double all of the counts to get used to the strumming pattern. For example, C and Em are held for 3 counts each. Play them for 6 counts each to get used to the strumming pattern. Once you are ready, try it again with 3 counts each. I hope that helps 😀. You can do it! I believe in you.

at the beginning you can do c and mute the g c and e string on the first fret and do all down strums until you start singing
