[Glitchtale Original] Stormheart - Rhabdophobia

- This is probably my most sound design heavy project to date. I've always thought the Bete Noire's introduction into Glitchtale was a very creative and interesting direction to take the story and wanted to write something for the character now that I've developed the skills to write originals for stuff now xD I knew I wanted to write something that fit the "spook month" theme but not as "fun" as some of my other Halloweeny stuff. I wanted something dark, experimental and SCARY as opposed to something spooky and fun like Dark Darker Yet Goner or Electrostatic. It took a lot of practice to get things to sound the way I wanted but I struggled less than expected (I ended up wrapping up the track in about 8 hours of working straight).
I've grown to really admire Glitchtale and this original was really a chance for me to break loose and go crazy so that's always fun. (It's not every day I get to pursue personal projects) I've been having a lot of fun writing AU stuff and I'd love to do original stuff for Glitchtale in the future (don't think I'll be doing remixes for this particular AU though due to personal reasons).
As for Camila, if you're watching this....I'm hyped for Season 2's finale episodes owo Keep up the good work

For those who don’t want to look it up, Rhabdophobia has multiple meanings, including one specific to Glitchtale:
Rhabdophobia is Betty's special attack, it can control any enemies powers as seen in the Episode 3 of glitchtale "Do Or Die".
The actual meanings of the word include:
Fear of being beaten by a rod object (such as a stick)
Fear of punishments
Fear of magic
The fear of magic wands.
Georgia C Just to add on: the specific definition of rhabdophobia in context to Betty’s special attack is the fear of magic.
Actually just looked it up. You are correct. Also of note, Nick Nitro's Tristophobia song, Tristophobia apparently being a fear of sadness, though i've yet to double check that.
Tristophobia (from Latin tristis , "sad"), also known as maestophobia (from Latin maestus , "sad") is the fear of sorrow and sadness . Tristophobia is also a fear of related emotions, such as grief, distress, despair, and disappointment. Since these are negative emotions, they are prime triggers of tristophobia.

Fits Betty incredibly well. Something that slowly, but steadily comes to you, as you realise you cannot escape it. Something that is chaotic and fast, impulsive and shifty, but this something scares you by that. The main melody keeps repeating itself, showing the only thing that Bete Noire keeps doing endlessly - killing. And the melody fits the description, that has been already told, perfectly - impulsive and fast, but still has it's own charm in it. Great music theme for such a quick killer that keeps doing chaos all around the world.
