Julia's respect for the dishwasher is something I wish more people in the serving industry had. While I was never considered the official "dish washer" at my old job, 95% of the time if it was my shift, I was back there doing them. I remember one super bowl we were swamped and I was taken off the line because we had too many dishes to keep up with prep and I cut my finger so couldn't be near the actual prep line. Stood there washing dishes for an entire 8 hour shift and had to change my clothes twice and even at one point take a break in the bathroom just so I could throw my clothes in the dryer to prevent too bad of chaffing and restart again. It's a tough job to do all day and to do well.
Aww this makes me feel sad for all those times I made a fuss or barely tipped at diners ... They seem basic but require lots of work. This changes my perspective.
Same cause I knew gas station wouldn’t work cause it’s not really cooking, and a fancy restaurant has too much risk, and the other option jp already worked at so I chose diner lol.

I saw Julia and the dude at playlist live day 1 and Julia and him was walking like where u just enter playlist and Julia sees me staring at both of them in shock walking with my mom as I fan girled in my head and yea I saw them :O Julia saw me staring at them and she just walks by with a big smile on her face as she had noticed me

Also, carrying heavy dishes, lifting boxes of produce, meats, etc. Lastly, working with a diverse group of people and of course ensuring the customer is happy every time. To say the least, physical labor builds character and respect for hard work!

OMG The food looks AMAZING! Diner food never disappoints! I would have to make this my only meal of the day, though, with the amount of calories that are probably in every dish :( It would be sooo worth it, though!
