I'm going to grab a bottle of that this weekend. The case for my 99 isn't as battered, so I've been looking for ways to restore it without stripping it. This gave a nice result!
great work, thanks. I had machine given to me just like this one, I washed off all the dust, oiled the case let it soak in and dry for a month then I bees-waxed it and it looks great. Thank you.
Thank you so much for this video, I picked up a Singer 128 this weekend which is in amazing condition and for an unbelievable price. I have Restore a Finish but only in Mahogany, so I need to go out and get it in Cherry to continue with my restoration. I want to get your thoughts on Murphy's Oil Soap. Have you ever thought of using it to clean the sewing machine surfaces before? I have watched your other videos and I know you prefer to do a lot of your cleaning with sewing machine oil. However, the one I purchased was definitely from a smoker or had a smoker in the house , and the nicotine coating the surface is embedded into all surfaces. Do you have any recommendations for that? Thanks and great video!
