    I live in the United States and I have traction alopecia and auto immune disease that causes my hair to be bald in front and on top. I've dealt with this for almost 10 years I am so happy to see a Black female have a transplant. Thank you for these videos

    I am on my way to turkey. Turkeyana I have the same problems as you. I went to a dermatologist and getting treatments monthly, kenalog 10 shots once a month first started off by getting a biopsy make sure things were right. I did Kenolog 10 injections not painful. It will clear up the inflammation on the scalp. I am going to Turkeyana in May 2024. I cannot wait I am so excited. Cost is about $3,000. Euros

    Your lace wig is the most natural looking I've seen. I'm from the U.S and the women here always have all those signature extreme baby edges. And it always looks like a lace front wig. But I love yours!

    Andree thanks for telling the truth.These styles aint protective........PREACH. My edges are done from "protective" styles and my jamaican hair stylist who I LOVE took the rest of my edges with a sew in she did three months ago. I wish stylists in the community cared about afro hair instead of seeing it as a problem to be "fixed" or covered. If she loved my hair she never would have done that to me.

    I also have a itchy scalp normally, which isn't ideal. So far, I've also been using cold aloe vera gel for my itching, as well as saline water on some days if I can be bothered. I won't be going back to braids either!

    I had mine 11 weeks ago. I am still experiencing burning and tenderness around the donor's areas. Also, the shock loss is getting me nervous. The donor sites are completely bald. Did you experience baldness in the donor sites? Could you please share your hair products and the frequency of washing?

      It does take a while and I’m 7 months in and it’s still tender when I get my PRP treatments. I did have shock loss but around 3-4 months it changed and I saw a light. I have an updated video with pictures which may help you see a little light 💗

      Hiya. After watching your video and few others and researching I applied for Longevita by sending a picture and they got back to me and said my hair type is too curly for the transplant. I'm very confused as to why my hair type is not right. I've come across a few other black women on here with afro hair with slightly different hair textures in terms of curl pattern but it's not too different from mine. Now I'm just stuck on what direction to go in as they have the best reviews/success stories.

      @@FAFash-wo9yg That is a little weird, did you ask what they meant? or why? i have what people would describe as 4b/c hair and it was fine. I know the London one doesn't offer to afro hair but Turkey definitely does. It may be best to send me an email and i can see why?

    Would you say the pain afterwards is tolerable if you're doing another cosmetic/surgical procedure in Turkey during the same trip? Or just do the hair transplant on its own cosmetic trip?

    • @sydneyboyd615
      @sydneyboyd615 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I just did mine and honestly, I would NOT recommend that you combine multiple procedures. Your hair needs a bit of TLC and recovery on its own. If you couple that with another procedure, you’ll be very limited in your mobility, your tolerance and possibly your pain threshold: I’d separate it. I’m not in immense pain but for one example, you are advised not to bend down. That’s going to be hard if you have to recover and tend to another area of your body
