Hi, did you had a FUE DHI hair transplant? Longevita told me that without shaving the whole head they will do a mine head a DHI Hairtrainsplant. (your hair is amazing)
Hi luv thank you …also not sure what the DHI stand for..?
Results are great, how else did you style your hair & is it ok to braid your hair after 7 months of the procedure
LSONETV thank you, yes for me it was ok I had a lot of growth
Omg that is sooo amazing I have the same issue and planned on going to turkey to get mine down how was the process after did you receive the hotel accommodation
Hi - thank you, the process was for me was very good. The hotel I went with was from their list of recommendations, which was very good - Holiday Inn Sisli
Thank you for this video
My pleasure, thank you.
How was it cornrowing your hair at 7months? Did this damage the hair? Thinking to cornrow mine at this stage
How long ago was your procedure and how did you sleep on your 1st night/1st week to protect hair follicles, did you do a PRP and who did you go with?
It was about 4/6 hours ( can't remember exactly but I have a vid of the post op and other Q&A vids). I slept with a travel pillow to raise my head. No PRP. Longevita Clinic.
@@Kimberly_____ Hey girl, i am 3 months into my hair transplant journey and i have some bald spots in my donor area which the surgeon said is normal and will go away. I see in your video in the 1 month mark it looks like you had 2 bald spots as well. Did you notice that? How long before it went away? I am freaking out and scared to be honest. My bald spots in the back are large.
@@eguonoevwiehor8140 yes but wasn’t worried. When my hair started getting longer and the thickness of my hair it either covered it or it grew in. I braid my hair and there is no difference in the back that I notice.
@@eguonoevwiehor8140 did your bald spots ever grow?
Great video! Did you experience shock hair loss?
Yes I did
Thx 4 sharing 😘😘🔥👏🏽🙏
You are so welcome x
Hi ya - just one more question- how many weeks / months after surgery were you able to deep condition / shampoo/ wear headscarves and or wigs?
For me it was about 2 weeks for the scarf (although I did wear before that, which was my personal decision), about 4 weeks for the wig..deep condition and shampoo after the 2 weeks after the scabs have gone, but they would advise you on aftercare - also you do have to shampoo and use a cream they provide everyday but the clinic will explain the aftercare....I discus more detail in this Q&A vid th-cam.com/video/qeCQdzhXYCA/w-d-xo.html ....it's also time stamped so you can skip to the relevant questions xx
@@Kimberly_____ awesome - thank you so much. I have meetings 2-3 times a week and that is my only worry but I’m sure if I wear a scarf 3 times a week loosely for maximum of an hour it will be ok. I am just worried about the blood and scabbing but surely that subsides after a month.
Thank you so much I’ve booked with the doctor Jasmine that you recommended all I have to do is wait for the borders to open / cover situation make progress.
Thanks again for your time / responses it’s much appreciated.
@@Kimberly_____ also wanted to ask did your go alone and would you say it’s a safe place enough to travel alone and the surgery is an ok one to do alone
how many grafts?
You mentioned getting a discount if we mentioned your name lovely... do you know what the percentage is and if it’s still valid? ❤️
Sherrifa Owusu hi Hun it varies on what’s on offer or not. Use the link in my bio to get a consultation and they will be able to discuss pricing x
Sherrifa Owusu also I would say their pricing are usually good as I also got a reasonable quotation which I went with.
Kimberly Meade I contacted them yesterday and my consultation is tomorrow morning. I’ve been quoted £4k by Hair Of Istambul - who only have one black woman to showcase; I’m excited to hear what Longevita has to offer ❤️
Sherrifa Owusu nice hopefully you will get a better quote
Sherrifa Owusu and also thanks for watching, if you have any other questions I’m here x
Come a long way !!!
very!!
Wow, amazing 🥲
Thank you .
I have uploaded a new vid - my 2 year update th-cam.com/video/n2sn0haRVjo/w-d-xo.html
❤
Did you wear your transplanted edges out for a month before you started wearing a wig?
Hi Hun, yes I basically waited for the scabbing to go, swelling to go down and I felt comfortable wearing a wig. Point to note - I used a silk scarf around the transplant area to protect the area from friction.
Kimberly Meade Thank you. I’m going to the same place and I used your link, so hopefully you’ll get some kind of credit.
K Davis thanks babes ❤️ if you have any other questions feel free x
K Davis my advice based on another lady I speak to is when you get there make sure you speak up and let them know what you want and confirm your travel details x
@@Kimberly_____ Will do. Did you wear your edges out at the airport or did you wear a scarf?
Hey , i have my surgery soon , for 1500 , can u advise if u can add extensions , just to make my hair look normal untill it grow,
I would say speak with the surgeon ...I only wore extensions when I saw my hair reach a certain length and I felt it was strong enough.
I had my transplant nearly three weeks ago. Your transplanted hair didn't shed did it? Look like it just grew straight away.
It shedded a bit and then started growing
Who was your surgeon? How soon after the surgery did you wear a head scarf and what style did you wear your headscarf in?
Hi I did a Q & A vid link in the description...my surgeon Name was Yasemin Turgut.
I will like to chart with you more about this cuz I have traction alopecia and I need advise on this hair transplant surgery
Sure ..I’ve also done some other videos on my experience
I live in Italy which is in the euro I don’t think I will need a visa to go there
@@Kimberly_____ does they flight and hotel cost a lot and how many days did you stay in turkey
Hi, please if you can tell me which place you went to…i want to do this but honestly i am So so scared…its bad as it is and im afraid to make it worse by going to the wrong doctor
I hun please see link below of vid where I share name of surgeon along with other Q&As
th-cam.com/video/qeCQdzhXYCA/w-d-xo.html
Stop braiding so much FYI traction alopecia seems to be the cause for thinning in the first place
D yeah I agree the issue comes when the hair is braided to tightly and creates tension on the follicles. I do my crochet braids as they are not heavy or cause any pulling, and the braiding pattern as I do it myself is not tight, this style has actually helped my hair grow thick and lovely 😊
Kimberly Meade it looks great your beautiful so no matter what your good would just hate to see you lose the comeback
D thank you
What clinic did you go to and would you recommend them?
Hi - Went to Longevita and yes as my results are amazing.
th-cam.com/video/qeCQdzhXYCA/w-d-xo.html
Hi 🙋🏾♀️ is there a certain way they ask you to braid your hair or do you have to you press it to get the surgery done because I have 4c hair x
Hi not sure on the middle question, but if you mean the style I had for surgery just have your hair out and you don't need to do anything with your hair - may be wash it. They shave and clean the area anyway but I just felt better giving my hair a nice wash before had.
Looks good x
Thank you xx
Wow
Did you notice any parts that seemed thin that has now grown full?
Hi, no I didn't.
Hey how did you manage to be able to make yourself understood was there a translator
There was a translator but the surgeon did speak English.
Do you recommend Longevita?
I have uploaded a new vid - my 2 year update th-cam.com/video/n2sn0haRVjo/w-d-xo.html I go into detail on my experience with Longevity.
Hey what's your thoughts on using jamican black castor oil for your hair months before surgery and post surgery for growth and thickness
I used it, it is fine for me, I just made sure I washed my hair prior to surgery. Post surgery I would say wait for your scalp to heal and the scabs have gone, but check with the specialist before as the castor oil is thick (I used it months after). In the beginning I used more light oils like t444z and emergencia products, and I don't currently use castor oil.
How many grafts did u get ?
Hi as I did it years ago can’t remember the exact amount but I have a time stamp Q&A vid with the details.
Where did you go?
Hi went to Turkey
How much $ please
Hello! Who did you go to?
Hi I went with Longevita surgeon - Yasemin
but there were also other clinicians working on me at one point.
Your hairline really wasnt bad
I hear an accent. A bit Northern but a bit foreign too.
Btw glad your hair transplant went well.
BeachChairz thank you, I’m Montserratian but I guess the travels between places and growing up in different areas❤️
@@Kimberly_____ Ah there we go! I knew I heard some Caribbean there, but not quite Jamaican.
Where you grow up mostly?
BeachChairz London
@@Kimberly_____ Ah, now that's really a shock. Coulda sworn you from Brum or suttin lol
How much was the procedure?
She said £1100
I have uploaded a new vid - my 2 year update th-cam.com/video/n2sn0haRVjo/w-d-xo.html and I also show the receipt.

I wish I went with this company. The company I went to use a lot of my donor area. I am so sad.
Ani sorry you didn't have a nice experience at the clinic you went with - but remain positive and look after the area xx my donor area did grow back as though nothing was taken.
@@Kimberly_____ did you have any little patches in your donor area?
@@annmoji807 don’t think so ..I filmed the back -that’s how it was looking throughout until it grew back
@@Kimberly_____ really lucky.
What company was that?
how did you manage to be able to make yourself understood was there a translator
Hi there was a translator but the surgeon did speak English.
Lol you're braiding your new hair😫
My issue wasn't caused with braiding - explained in my other vids and my transplanted hair is very strong so not scared to braid my hair.
@@Kimberly_____ not worth the risk but good luck
