Sam here...Thanks for taking the time to play Steamwatchers and post this discussion! I know how much work goes into these kinds of videos with all the prep and post work involved. With that being said, I feel like I need to say that we strongly recommend that players don't combine all the expansions at once, as this will create a very complex, slow, and drawn-out experience. With many of the things that were said, it seems like that's exactly what happened. As with anything in life, not all games are for everybody, either. But I appreciate your honesty!

You are correct and we did see that on the expansion rules. I decided to include them all as to showcase each expansion but perhaps failed to mention that you guys do recommend to not combine them all.
I should also mention that we have played this off camera without all expansions and the feelings towards the game were roughly the same. Like you said, not every game is for everyone but I’m sure many people will see this and disagree with us. As you are more than experienced in that. Lol

They have been talking about SO many aspects and have SO many thoughts about this game, that your buddy Leo and the designer himself MUST (steam)watch this video..
I was so enthusiastic to grab a copy, but now I've been definitely cool(ed) down.
The game looks gorgeous, but... Combats are mathy? Gameplay is such unseticfying and not unique enough? A single bad choice might be punishing enough to destroy your entire (rest of the) game?
Building up rounds towards both an anticlimactic final round and overall experience?
And more and more and more..
My expectations were put into a deep... deep freeze.
It’s not as good as Forbidden stars, War of the rings, Star Wars rebellion, Twilight imperium or The defence of the Procyon III but it’s far better than Scythe or Kemet. It’s ultra fast, It’s not boring, it’s not as predictable as You think (You can attack with multiple attacks). This game has many weaknesses that they could fix easily, there also are some obv strategies that allows you to abuse game mechanics but it’s a solid game.
What do you think the most glaring weaknesses are and what the fixes could be that are easy to deploy @chriscenobite818? I love the art style and simul ordering but share some of the slow concerns so would love some options for fixes!
