I played that song at my wife’s funeral yesterday. She loved Radiohead and this song captures the emotions of loss and sadness that I am feeling right now.
Beautiful as always sir! I fee that this entire album is underrated, and particularly this song and Give Up the Ghost are the two standouts for me. You did this one justice, and it was absolutely beautiful and incredibly accurate. Well done!

I only somewhat recently became a fan of Radiohead within the last year and a half or so, and after I realized I could listen to whole albums at a time, I would set aside an hour or two a day to listen to and analyze each album. Codex came on and it was magical. The whole album is fantastic. Anyway, thank you for doing such amazing work. You make the best covers on TH-cam by far.
I first listened as the bells of the medieval Notre Dame de Beaune started a long chime! Your chords seemed to merge with them at times. A mirage of sounds perhaps but then I listened again and my ears still picked up clear deep bells/heart beats. Very beautiful & inspiring. 🙏M/C

Thank you so much! I struggled with that sequence at 3:30 and referred to a tab site as a starting point, but the chords suggested there weren't quite right imo so I trial and errored my way to this. Not 100% confident it's right tbh but it sounds good to me =]
@@danielkalamaras7252 I use "Pure" default settings and tweak for the needs of the song, generally at minimum I add some "chapel" reverb because I like things to feel a bit spacious and fragile.

Underrated song
I think because the album isn't so well liked, the great songs on it don't get as much recognition as great tracks from other albums.

I think it's more important to hold the high G then reach the low E. It will still sound good if you drop the E imo.

Roland RD 88. The piano sound is a VST called Native Instruments Noire, which does not come with the piano.
