I love how as Jet Jaguar was monologuing. Rodan charged right into him and started folding his ass to the point Jet Jaguar struggled to even stand

@@michaelc.8712 You're not wrong and even the magazine which is Japanese from an interview from one of the designers mentioned they based Rodan after Quetzalcoatlus.
However, looking at the first form (the red version) looks more like a Pteranodon with a Ramphorhynchus tail than a Quetzalcoatlus.

Fun fact: rodan appears in almost every eps in this series and the second for being a species since the og rodan 1956
I haven’t been able to find the soundtrack for this scene anywhere and it’s really good for keeping the comedic atmosphere. I still laugh at this because of it.

This whole scene had me grinning. Easily one of the most fun Godzilla scenes in a while.
I like how the old man tries to sound like the robot is actually talking while Rodan kicks his butt.

@@eggsygetrekt5655 It's too large to be a Pteranodon specifically, but it is based on Pterosaurs.
It's worth noting that most of the kaijus in this show are whole species (like these Rodans and the Mandas) except for a couple of exceptional individuals (like Godzilla and Anguirus). The plot is about how they're all competing to take advantage of a space-time paradox that's on a loop and that speeds up their evolution.

They say dialogue ruins some, if not all, fight scenes, but Goro’s goofy lines make this fight entertaining.

Hands down this was a really good anime.
Good show , it’s wordy for a Godzilla property, but I like it. Good/interesting characters keep your attention between fights

Unfortunately, there are more boring explanations than fights
Wordy, like dialogue heavy. I like the show, it’s good I think. Haven’t seen Shin Godzilla but I hear good things. It’s an interesting world they’re building and I’d love a season 2

The main problem of rodan is his short life span because this kind of life style is more like dragonfly and mayfly then pterosaurs
