I'm so excited to share this film with you! It's been an emotional rollercoaster, with teary eyes during the shoot as the women reflected on their personal journeys and the long way they've come in challenging social conventions. Things got emotional when they watched the first draft of this documentary, and I'm sure your thoughts and feedback on this film will continue to inspire them to walk this path.
Thank you so much for making this wonderful film. Working with waste is a tough job anywhere in the world but especially in India and even more so if you are a woman. I'm so proud of these ladies for opening up and talking about the issues they face, emotional and heartwarming. They are angels in disguise :)
So lovely to hear from you Jodie, and thanks for the work and movement you started with Waste Warriors! So admire the sakhis too and the entire team you and subsequent CEOs have built.
Great documentary capturing the commendable efforts of Sakhis. When women are at the forefront of these efforts, we can really hope that plastic pollution will get addressed. Many thanks to the Sakhis 🙏
That's certainly the hope - and the bare minimum we can do at home is to reduce plastic consumption, switch to sustainable alternatives, and segregate our waste!
Literally, every one of the videos in this series has been touching and hopeful, to say the least. People like them (Sakhis) are the real heroes, the real warriors of this era! And you have so beautifully captured their work here. Hats off to these women!
Salaam aap sabhi behnon ko🫡! Bhagwaan aap sabko aur Shakti de is muhim ko aur unchaiyon tak le jaane ke liye aur aur bhi logon ko protsaahit karne ke liye! Jai ho🙏
Thank you so much, Shivya, for sharing the stories of our Sakhis from Sahastradhara. It means a lot to see their hard work and resilience reach so many people through your platform. Grateful for your support in bringing their journey to life.☺️
Kudos to your work and creating this opportunity for them, and many others across the country, while also tackling one of our biggest challenges. Hope your work continues to spread far and wide!
Kudos to the organisation, these women for muting the opinions of the people around them discouraging from doing such great work and breaking stereotypes. So inspiring. We all need a clean and green world it’s high time we all did something about it.
Absolutely - the least we can do is start segregating our waste and give it to someone who can actually manage it. Kudos indeed for them to be doing this work against all odds!
Thank you honestly for making us feel what really it is to live like a human being with the 6th sense.. people have usually forgotten that they have that and have stopped using it for the most simplest way to live and let live.. we still have a long way to go if we still have to teach people the way of living cleanly.. but the video is just amazing and it shows shows the Raw emotions of people which can truly touch people..

I hope so! If we're still not reducing and segregating waste at home, we really need to ask ourselves why!
