GTRE GTX-35VS KAVERI Kaveri engine / Anoop Benny

The Kaveri is an indigenous Indian jet engine developed by the Gas Turbine Research Establishment (GTRE), a laboratory under the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).
It is a twin-spool, low-bypass turbofan engine designed to power the Tejas Light Combat Aircraft (LCA). However, due to various challenges, including thrust deficiencies and technological hurdles, the Kaveri engine has not yet achieved its full potential.
Despite these setbacks, the Kaveri project has been a significant endeavor in India's quest for self-reliance in aerospace technology. It has provided valuable experience and expertise in the field of jet engine development, paving the way for future advancements in this critical area.
