❤ Yes, growing as an herbalist takes years of learning, building and growing. I’ve been mixing Mullein in my herbal tea blends created from herbs I grew in my own gardens then filling tea bags for sharing cups of tea over winter with coworkers/family. This year I gave out loose leaf tea holding balls with jarred loose tea to take back the time I used to fill bags and my regular users were thrilled. I don’t charge since I’m not a business, but word of mouth spread last winter - some even calling my teas magic potions 😂. God blessed me with a strong maternal instinct and helped build my patience as a gardener so the least I can do is share my creations. Thank you for teaching us all along the way too! 😊

Ziggy is Charlie’s twin.. 😊. I’ve got homemade mullein tincture and homemade elderberry syrup… they both have worked soooooo well this season several times. Symptoms went away overnight on several occasions. I also made a homemade calendula/lavender/rosemary whipped body butter.. we use it for dry skin, chapped lips, etc daily. They all really do help!

This is definitely my sign - I have posted a few videos on TH-cam and have wanted to take it seriously for a while, but lack the skills to edit efficiently. I've been posting on and off on TikTok and Instagram and build a little bit of a following over there. It is definitely my goal to try to make more long form content though, I'm super excited to utilize skill share to learn how to be a successful content creator. I will most likely be renewing it next month!

Thank you! Made my mullein tea blend up a few weeks ago, but appreciate the reminder about calendula salve! Skin has been so dry this season ( I have hemochromatosis , where h can really dry out your skin )
    Hug that baby ❤

I LOVE the herbalism videos! Yes!!!! Go Mullien! My favorite! The only herb that stops my 5 year olds’ post Covid cough!

Hey, Jill - the closed captioning at 2:00 says mold instead of mullien, but I don’t know that it matters. Also, mullien isn’t on your check list. Is that because it’s so seasonal? Thanks! I’m so excited to start making my own tea blends with things I grow myself! You are such an inspiration!

I never knew mullen was edible. Have always used it as tp when camping. ;) out west we call it lambs ear cause it is so soft.

QUESTION-I may have missed it but does anyone know more about the mullen salve she spoke of for chest colds? 🙂

I've got no idea where to purchase any of these things that I would trust...any hints would be helpful.

Could I use horehound instead of licorice roots? I'm very new to this and I'm nervous about mixing herbs that treat the same issues.
