I'm not completely sure on this but I think that your whippet keeps getting stuck is because you're trying to turn going up that dip and the terrain is not happy about it.
I am not turning the tank, rather the terrain is turning me and you are right in that it causes the tank to bleed off speed. I will try and correct this.
I had a crazy idea (which is not unusual because I love to think on how to modernise old warfare equipment with modern stuff): what if we grabbed a Mark 4 or 5 tank from WW1 and put a modern engine and armament in it, for example a .50 cal MG or a 20 autocannon in the front while the cannons in the sponsons are replaced by modern artillery/ anti-tank cannons (not the MBT ones but like late WW2-early Cold War era cannons) while overall make the tank design a bit more modern (better transmission, tracks with suspension, more modern viewports, etc.) while keeping mostly the original looks. Just imagine how shocking it would be to see one roll into the Battlefield before any MBT and devastate everything while zooming around (given that with a higher HP engine and a bit more added armor would make it way more agile, especially with the modernised suspension and/or transmission design at least on paper). No, it wouldn't be as fast as an armored car but at least fast enough to not be killed immediately after depliyment by CAS or artillery strikes. And given it's size it could be used pretty much as a huge IFV, carrying troops while having a pretty big firepower. At least that's how I think it would work but I'm no expert. Just wanted to share this and I'm pretty curious what do you think about this idea, how do you imagine it so feel free to share your thoughts with me😊
I think it wouldn't even need to be upgraded with modern equipment to scare the pants off me. I think however since they used to hold 10+ people inside them just the size would make them a tasty target for a shoulder fired anti-tank weapon (not sure how fast you could get that massive track design).
no can't use same ammo in both slots. Have to use different ammo types, it is a bit counter intuitive but the ammo types stats are additive not averaged so adding an extra type even though it is worse is still better overall.
As dumb as it sounds adding the rear wheels might actually help the whippet get over tge trench (even though in real life they were just dead weight). Edit: Make sure to scroll through all the stats when fixing defects, as there could be some that you're not correcting.
Are British tanks the only ones you can start with? I know you can buy and reverse engineer other countries tanks, but can you start a German tank company or a French one?
At the moment and for the early access release only Britain is playable but I believe the developers plan is to add the other countries at a later date before full release.
@@crashtestgaming007 How is the game? I played the demo a long time ago but never had the closed alpha/beta. How much as changed and how much will change on this weeks full release compared to the version you have?
The tycoon part of the game is very similar to the old demo except goods and tanks are delayed by time rather than lost when the reliability of shipments fails. The main change is the change to 3D. Worst part is 1-2 second loading screens between buidings. Best part is 3D models of your hybrid tanks (combined tech, from the reversee engineering of trophy tanks which is new) and the tank driving on the test track. I really enjoy the tycoon part of the game and tank designer although I wish they engine implementation could be more complex. Thumbs up from me, my context is that of a tactical and strategy/grand strategy pc gamer.
I do apologize, I will endeavor to improve my diction, I don't know how to characterize my accent, it is Australian, but I didn't think it was particularly broad, perhaps it is.
In true British fashion any upgrades should be stars.
So the orginal design is just the mark 1
Small upgrades should be the mark 1 *
Thank You, I was unaware of this convention.

u can just copy the mark 1 design and add new parts on it rather than desinging the same tank again. it saves time
ah yeah cloning, will keep that in mind for the next variant.
i suggest u do livestreams on here, it would be more fun and perhaps bring more people to watch it.
I will look into it, see if I can get the timing to line up.
hey just wondering why you added the mark 1 HE ammo, could you not slot mk2 HE ammo in both slots?

@@crashtestgaming007 yeah just saw that in the next episode, a bit of a weird system. Thanks for getting back to me though!
You shoulda named the video "Tanks Brutalize Belgian Battalions"
I approve of this video
Appreciate your support.

Will do, thank you for the tip.
All this talk of weight someone may get offended. Leaving the trench wheels off is always a win on a light tank.
Indeed, weight is a err.... weighty matter. No trench wheels is the height of fashion ;)

You forgot to put #2 on the title.
Thank you for letting me know, I will correct.

@crashtestgaming8297 Nice, I'm looking forward to seeing more and finally play it soon. Been following it for a while.
