For those asking, this is Beinn a' Bhùird and Ben Avon in the Cairngorms, in Scotland. And thank you for all the comments, which really mean a lot. Except those from Oscar the cat next door, who logs on to give multiple thumbs down before searching for his favourite Van Halen guitar solos.

Yours is neurotic, too? Mine has crippling fear of slippery floors, and severe separation anxiety. I don’t know how to help her, aside from using throw rugs, and several calming items (an Adaptil collar and diffuser we get from our vet every month).
She’s my third Lab, from the same bloodline. The first two weren’t neurotic at all.
I got her a “Mabel” for Xmas, hoping that living with a fearless airhead would help. Alas, the puppy’s coat changed dramatically, and she’s becoming a full sized German Shepherd.
(She looked a bit like a muddy yellow Lab puppy. I probably should have paid more attention to her papers.) ;)

@@beachgirl4583 Yes the No 2 Lab is neurotic. I got her to stop the old lab getting depressed as she had hip dysplasia, and her shoulder ligaments and tendons got damaged as she stood her ground when a neighbours vicious dog got out, they forgot to close the gate. She saved me by not moving. I saved her because I was carrying a stout hazel stick and I belted it and took off after it belted it again. But the puppy really worked because old lab who should not run, was happy to wrestle with puppy, pull her up the hay and straw bales etc. No 2 lab hates the lawn tractor, fireworks, drills, the vacuum cleaner and it did not help that some idiot let his dog launch itself at her when she was sat at my feet. I have tried all the collars, plug ins and my vet said he will give me sedatives for Nov 5th and New Year's eve. Did not need them this year as everything was on lock down. Got the other lab puppy when I realised No 2 lab was not going to cope when we lost the old dog. No 3 was too young when we lost No 1. But she's grown into her role as she is now 3 but she is a houdini, under gates, through gates, over gates and the same for fences. She is convinced she is a hound and she's off after rabbit scents. But then she is the one that will sit for hours with me while I garden, greenhouse muck out the barns. No 2 says boring and disappears into the house.

Love your dogs, so attentive. Had a Great Dane in my first marriage and the dog was first jealous of me and later listened to all the commands to protect me, which came in handy one night. I worked a few blocks away from home, and got off late. The dog was sent to accompany me home. He was pitch black and usually walked right beside me, but, I allowed him to explore the bushes. Two guys approached me and I warned them off. They laughed, until I whistled. The dog would have never hurt a fly, but a 180 pound dog, flying out of the bushes had them running.

    This is just beautiful.
The love you have for your dogs, and the love and loyalty they have for you is palpable.
My dogs are my world. We camp together and walk together, they swim with me and , as you say, they’re just so happy to follow wherever we go.
And after a long day, the way my dogs lean against me as we look out over whichever spectacular view we are blessed enough to have found is just the best. No words needed, just a feeling of how much love and respect there is between us.
I love your videos, Mr Cotter. And although I don’t need a reminder to, I always find myself reaching to scratch a snoozing, furry head as I smile. 🙂❤️
