  • After his first year adventure riding on a CRF250L, Larry added an Africa Twin to his stable. As usual, he began reading in forums, watching lots of videos, and talked to riders with experience to identify the list of things he would want and need for this bike. When he gets a new bike he always creates a prototype to visually target and creates a full accessories list, along with the estimate cost of each item on the list... and then he prioritizes the list. The purchase order frequently changes when he finds good prices that make sense to by at the time of the best deal... and of course dependent on how much liquid cash he has available at the time.
In this video he shows you his picks that were based on his experience and riding style target... and can help guide you to your own pick list. He groups the accessories by looks, protection, and touring.
Some of the featured brands include SHAD USA, LeoVince, IMS Products, T-Rex Racing, Fisch Moto, Fobo, Tegnit, Atlas, Baja No Pinch, Supersprox, SRC Moto.
We have a profile page specifically created for the CRF1000L and a link to a more inclusive list of accessories and related items. Plus there are more photos, links, prices, and in some cases discount codes. Here are some of our links to get you started:

Thanks for taking the time to show us all these mods/options. Mine is in the queue for May of 2022 and I am thinking those crash bars are the first necessity.

Great informative video. Always impressed by your artistic ability to do what the motorcycle manufactures should've done. Beautiful AT.

what tune did you run after installing exhaust ?

No tune... although a tune would certainly help with power. Didn't notice any performance degradation or popping without a tune.

Most of the products you are talking about are not available, discontinued, or the website is not working, which makes this a pretty useless video. Cheers.

It makes sense that some products over time become unavailable, but your comment had me wondering how many couldn't be purchased. I took the time to look up everything we listed and every site was available. Of all of the products listed on our site associated with this bike (which were over 25) the only product I couldn't find in inventory currently was the Tegnit adjustable shield (and that is a small individual builder whom we had to wait for our order as well). In any case, even if any of these parts weren't available, that has been a common thing given the state of the world currently. Most folks trying to buy parts are already aware of this fact. Some could suggest that there is a certain amount of users that would find the displayed accessories as helpful to give them an idea of what they might want to do to their bike.
