Was basically going to say the same thing! Originally buys sport s because it’s cheaper then buys rubicon because of the great deal and then all the sudden has the money for a very expensive rooftop tent and bed rack etc…. Lol I’m just jealous because that’s exactly what I want but waiting to see what they come out with next year, maybe 4xe gladiator.

Very nice Jeep. It makes since going with the Jeep for off-road use. For urban use, Home-Depot runs, the Ranger is better and cheaper.

Two weeks ago I sold my 2020 Ram 1500 back to the dealer I bought it from and got more than I paid as well LMAO.
Happy I did because last week I ran across a clean manual 04 Ram SRT 10- never thought I’d get my dream car in truck form!
Mine shifts perfectly with 37s and 4:88s, 4:10s weren’t cutting it. I’m also running the Mopar 2” lift.
Another fantastic presentation from TFL, very cool truck, not just a show truck and used what its build for 💪

If you have good spotters or know your lines up a trail, you really don't need a winch. Like he said it's for an emergency when you are wheeling alone.
A smart off roader never need to use their winch!!!

I bought a Launch Edition 2 years ago and this will probably be the last truck I buy. It’s just such an incredible and great off roading truck.

I got the Gladiator Sport Max Tow - much cheaper than the Rubicon and is very capable. I go on a pretty tough off road trail (not rock crawling though) and it does great. I have bigger tires but no lift on it. It also has a much larger payload and towing than the Rubicon due to the heavy options on the Rubicon and Mojave versions. Initially I didn't like how Wranglerly the Gladiator was but it allows for a ton of Jeep options and upgrades to be used on the Gladiator. Cut the Gladiator in half and the front half is all Wrangler but the rear half is Ram truck.

Looking good! Our gladiator on 37’s is one of the funnest off road toy’s we have. And we have a raptor, Ram TRX and f250 Tremor.

I drove a gladiator for a week last year. I was very disappointed. crappy fuel economy, 4 wheel drive was riddled full of issues. no acceleration. they should have named it the Fiat Gladus

the 8 speed transmission really compensates for tire size ive ran 36" on a ram with 3.21 gearing and did fine i did swap 3.92 after a couple years though .
I have larger tires and power is fine for me. Some people do like the diesel version with its low end torque and much better mpg.
Nice setup! Too bad FCA (or whatever they call themselves today) can’t produce a reliable product & can’t properly service what the sell if there are problems.

So this guy has gone through 4 trucks. I keep a vehicle for 10 years. People that swap vehicles this much amaze me.
Kind of reminds me of a Transformer Bot generational thing going on here combined with a lot of accessories. Here in my State the Glads are still sitting on the lots even with the chip shortage raising demand on everything else. But here everyone has this towing need real or imagined and the Glads limited towing ability keeps it out of the game.
Tows just as much as every other midsize truck.
Hopefully this trend continues so they depreciate more and I could grab one in two years. Currently it's overpriced because of the covid demand.

My 2020 Tundra was 51 000 CAD...I think it is a good deal, considering now it's worth about 5 grand more at 1 yr old
Ride out the current market & then snag a lightly used one. Agree - the value proposition on many of these new trucks is just not there.
Heard the ranger has some of the best mileage in class.

I have a 4WD FX4 Ranger and the gas mileage is great and bad.
It’s bad because with the turbo charger, it’s a lot of fun to drive. That’s smiles per gallon and it sucks gas!.
It’s good because if I take it easy (like grandpa), I get 26 highway and 21 city.
So the MPG is dependent on your driving habits.
@@steved1880 the computer says 26, but it’s off if you check it manually. Maybe going 55 in 10th with a tail wind. (Just sold my 2020 lariat fx4.)
Does this truck have the v6 or the Ecodiesel?
He says it has the Pentastar engine in it. Petrol V6.

Many Jeeps are modified. Jeep/Stellantis won’t cover the altered parts, but any failure attributable to OEM systems or parts is still honored. There’s a lot of misconception out there; the whole warranty is not simply voided.

@@jurbachify used market is very weird right now just had a customer that bought a 19 ram Laramie from me new it stickered for 53k and bought for 43k when 10k off sticker was the norm. He traded it for a 21 limited and I was able to give him 46k for his trade with 18k miles on it this is truly an unusual time.
I think the Power Wagon with a 4 Wheel Camper onboard makes more sense. So does Dr. Hannah. Just saying.

The Gladiator owner likes the adverb "super" while talking. I haven't owned a Jeep product in many years. I hope this Gladiator is reliable for the owner over the next few years (if he keeps it as it sounds as if he's on his 3rd vehicle within a ~year, not counting his wife's Jeep, which I think he mentioned).
His "sharpness" rating, with respect to the tool shed immediately became apparent 😆

Why would you run it like this when it pours the bed gets wet, now you're forced to run the power+fridge/freezer inside the cab of the truck it makes 0 sense to me

@@joelmora2826 I have a roof top tent that sits as low as possible so it only stticks out 3-4 inches above the cab and a sliding tonneau cover , fridge freezer in the bed of the truck on a slider and my power station

Expensive way to go imo but it works I imagine and this guy obviously has enough money considering all hes spent on his rig and accessories. And in all fairness Milwaukee is probably a cheaper option then outfitting with Pelican. I use the Plano sportsman trunks for my outdoor gear with an added homemade gasket for dust ingress because Milwaukee is to rich for my blood. My tools for work are in 1st gen Dewalt tough system boxes.
Oh and we dont really know maybe he uses that beast for work and play and there are tools in those Milwaukee packout boxes.
