Feature Friday - Freerider carrier, DO NOT RECOMMEND

Normally in this series, I show you slings that I love and have in the library. Today I'm showing one that I've borrowed and DO NOT recommend. It's the Freerider carrier.

Why I DON'T love it.
💙 Narrow newborn setting
💙 Waistband doesn't tighten
💙 Style over function
💙 Tuckaway buces that may lead to tearing.
💙 Fiddly back clip
💙 One way adjusting
💙 Will last till about 12-18m only.
So all of that and at a whopping £188!
Also the fact that the company has some very unsafe unsafe instructions! They say that the carrier panel must come to the middle of babys ear! This can be dangerous and cause airway issues in small babies as you cannot clearly see them.
For their back carry video, they show sliding wee one round with no support from the carrier. So if your wee one is not cooperative or leans they are not supported.
This carrier seems to have been designed to by stylish rather than one that will fit well, adjust and last.
