Thank you! I never really thought about using a bottle cap before. I normally just eyeball it and hope for the best. But this is a great tip! Thank you!
Hey there! Seeds can be kept for a really long time surprisingly as long as they’re stored properly. 1-2 years is absolutely fine. Every year after that, their shell becomes harder and harder which lowers their chance of germination since it’ll be more difficult for them to absorb water and oxygen. Just sow a lot to improve your chances of successful germination and keep the ones that look the healthiest. I hope you have an amazing growing season! ☺️
Eggplant! Yum. Also, nice hack!
I’m definitely excited to grow eggplants!

I’m glad you found it helpful! I was surprised myself initially too when I notice the bottle cap was exactly 1/4th of an inch! ☺️
Nice
I hope you found it useful! Happy Gardening!
How long can you keep the pack of seeds that you didn't use? Not just eggplant but any seed variety

Thank you so much!!!! I really loved this trick.
I’m glad! It really takes away the second guessing on if the seed is too deep or not haha
I just use a pen or pencil with a mark on it. Nice tip tho.
Oh that’s also a great idea! Thank you for sharing that!
